Why no dlss in some recent games?

Games like callisto protocol and resident evil 4 remake are using the extremely poor FSR 1 and 2 yet not allowing dlss.

I've yet to be impressed with FSR and will always choose TAA or dlss if given the chance as it is a shimmer blurry mess.

Are AMD paying money to stop developers implementing dlss? If so I'm pretty annoyed with this practice.

I've seen dlss modded into resident evil 4 so I know it can be done.

I rather wonder why so many games only use FSR 1? Although FSR 2 has been available for a long time.

Yeah, probably AMD $$$ at work, same as Nvidia does quite often.

PhysX
Gsync
DLSS

I will never know why people think that a closed ecosystem is ever going to be more widely embraced than an open source free alternative. It does not matter if it performs or appears better if the effort to implement it is going to cost A) Time B) Money C) Broader adoption.

FSR is open and works on every platform (and consoles). DLSS only works with recent nvidia gpus.
