New Armillo gameplay trailer and infos from Fuzzy Wuzzy Game's twitter/a banned site you go to for Nintendo news.

New to Armillo is a speed-run inspired platformer:

CwoJTLe.jpg

For every non-boss 3D world, there will be a hidden 2D level. Those will be simple time-based levels well hidden in the 3D worlds. Gotta find them all!

Armillo release time window! We're targeting Q1 2014 for a NA Wii U release! Few month exclusivity on the Wii U for at least 3 months. We'll try our best to get a European release not long after as well.

If you're going to PAX Prime, be sure to come check us out. Nintendo will be hosting us at their booth between 12pm to 2pm every day.

This game is HORRIBLE. Do not be tricked by the suave graphics it is absolute garbage both single player and multi. Quite possibly the worst eShop game yet. Get something like Nanostray, Ducktales or Trine.

I think it depends on what you expect and what you like about a game. I waited for the demo, played it and decided to buy it. In single player it's more or less a time trial racing game and in multiplayer some form of tag. Mastering the single player courses for me is much more satisfying than playing something like Trine 2. Trine 2, for me, were nice visuals paired with weird physics and mediocre puzzles. And 80% of the time solving those puzzles felt like abusing glitches. And yes, I've played Trine 2 alone and in 3-player co-op with voice chat.

OP is missing Armikrog from the to-be-released eShop games.
OP is missing a few games from the last few pages because Aostia was gone for a few weeks and has to do it all on his own. We could help him with it. Maybe I'll get to it tomorrow.

You either didn't play multiplayer...or you/your friends really sucked at it.

thank you both! I know that you and other users pointed out other additional games than the original list I did.
Once I'll have updated the existing ones until the letter "Z", I'll scroll the topic to look at which games should be added.
Of course a recap would be of great support!!!

I'll also try to ask Zajora if possible to update the graphics for the new releases, summarizing them here once again:

I'd also like to know when Mutand Mudds deluxe will be released in PAL regions..

The PAL regions would like to know that too. ;P

Edit: This is the last I've found about the PAL release on Jools Watsham's Twitter. And then there was also this discouraging tweet.

I know, but they submitted the game (after twitting that comment on the 3ds pal sales), so it's coming. Let's wait...hopefully will be out in September?

It's 15€ for Pokémon Rumble U.
Yes, I corrected in the OP! Thx

Wait, is Giana Sisters releasing today?
Is already available in PAL, but still no firm US release date

Lucky UKers can now purchase Splinter Cell Blacklist on the eshop for only £55.99. That's only £20 more than the physical version, which you can resell. I welcome to digital future.

Yeah same crazy price difference in Sweden, 629 SEK (~€70) on eShop and 329-498 SEK (~€37-57) on online shops for a physical copy.

I went through some posts and wrote down the games with confirmed Wii U releases. Also added info to some released games for their Zajora treatment.

Released:

you're mixing up developer and publisher a lot of the time. maybe include a field for publisher.

For example, Cubemen 2 is not developed by Nnooo, they're just publishing. Three Sprockets is still developing the Wii U port. And that D&D game is made by Iron Galaxy, not Capcom.

Thanks, corrected along with Pure Chess. Anything else?

I also disliked that game, but there is a demo of it on the eShop so anyone can try it and see if it fits their tastes. Where I disagree with you is at the recommendations you make... I mean, how can ANYONE make a recommendation list and let out THE BEST GAME OF THE WHOLE E-SHOP, TOKI TORI 2.
Toki Tori 2 is so much better than those games that it's sad how it doesn't get the attention it deserves.

Anyone that has a WiiU, enjoys puzzle games, and is missing this game
ibexjZtYAsrtpr.png

MUST buy it ASAP. It's not only the best puzzle-adventure game ever made, even surpassing masterpieces like Braid, and of course, one of the best games ever made.

It's one of the best games of the year. And nobody will even think of it for a second once "the season" rolls around...
It's absolutely sad how this industry has been rooting for the past decades, since the casual CGI-focused crowd invaded it to a point where absolutely brilliant games like this are considered "average" on metacritics.
It's absolutely shameful how a game with a level design that surpasses nearly everything I've played in my whole life as a gamer, it's considered something average for those that only want handheld (and I'm not speaking of portable consoles here XD ) experiences, and what's even worse, how those kind of absolutely ignorant opinions have the same weight on the media than the ones that real players make.

This game doesn't have amazing graphics (they are more than ok), doesn't hold your hand (although the natural flow of the game tends to bring you to the easier levels first) and isn't a scripted corridor with explosions and dead people lying all over the place.
It's a pure adventure game that defies one's intellect, that encourages the player to explore instead of guiding them, that requires patience... and it does that when allowing the player to perform only two single actions during the whole game!!!

You know all you have to do is to whistle or to stomp, and yet you have to figure out where and how you can do this to achieve what you're seeking...

I'll never have enough words of praise to describe that game, it's AMAZING!!!!!

Amen ...amen.

Is there a site that tells you the current price of eshop games? Im just wondering what retail games got a permanent price drop.

Well, no. Not that i know of.
But i can tell you that at the canadian Eshop (and probably american) the following games dropped from 59,99 to 39,99

Assassin s Creed 3
Nba 2k13

That´s it (as far as i know)

The rest still 59,99, no matter how old they are. Except Injustice, which is $61,59 for some reason.

In Europe, ZombiU got a perma price drop to 30 EUR (I think?) a while ago among some other games. Don't remember which, though.

Thanks a lot to Weng and all the other pointing the games out.
I've just finished the original list, so I'll update with the "new" games asap.
And when Zajora will add new graphics, I'll post them in the OP

Today, I updated the letter "T" (and take a close look, imho, to Tengami and to The 90' arcade racing) and "U"

awesome awesome, how come there wasent a thread on this?

Edit: Sword 'N' Board is coming to Wii U

Edit2: Moving Player announced two games for Wii U:
- EVOFISH Wii U, the console version of the iOS and Android game, upgraded with an asynchronous multiplayer gameplay !

- TRIBOO, a Wii U game with an innovative gameplay planned for late 2013.

Also, today a crowdfunding campaign for a 3DS and Wii U port of the 2012 Neo Geo & Dreamcast game Gunlord was launched on Indiegogo.

I added the new games to my post above.

Would it make sense to add a category for games that are currently looking for funding or would it be better to make a new thread for those?

Anyway here are the ones I'm aware of:

and with this post you've described everything that is wrong with the industry.

making a game for 100 games for $10,000 each and seeing 10,000 sales each just isn't desirable any more to publishers when they can do one game for $10M even though they might only see 5M sales (i.e. half of the sales). It basically comes down to 100 chances for failure, or one chance for success.

Indie gaming is THE future of gaming. It's just a shame that the big publishers view that style of development as only valid for mobile and/or social gaming. Fortunately Nintendo, Sony and (finally) MS recognize the importance of indie development and have all flung their doors wide open to that emerging segment. The majority of the best titles of this year are found exclusively on the download shops, yet when it comes to Game of the Year awards all of those amazing releases will be vying for one single category while the popcorn AAA releases divvy up the other 30+ categories.

I added the new games to my post above.

Would it make sense to add a category for games that are currently looking for funding or would it be better to make a new thread for those?
Specifically for Wii U? Yeah I think that's actually a great idea.
