EDGE is a great game! I really enjoyed it when I played it a few weeks back. RUSH pretty fun too. That also has off-tv play too btw.

Dex, a 2D Deus Ex looking RPG will receive a Wii U stretch-goal. No idea what it might be yet.

sorry the double post, but another kickstarter stretch goal

http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/437762268/tadpole-treble

rhythm action/scoring game where you have to dodge the notes on a piece of sheet music, while also hitting targets along the way.
-Said to have a variety of music genres. First ones demonstrated are Chiptune, Russian circus and Western
-PC/Mac initial goal, WiiU stretch goal, Ios possible goal.
-Donation rewards range from game copies to character plushes to singing in the credits song.

I kind of want to back this. It's rare to see a Kickstarter give you a copy of the game for pledging only $7. I also love what I'm hearing of the music so far, and the game seems like an interesting concept.

I backed it. It's by the guy that does the Brawl in the Family comics, and he's been toying with the idea for a while. $7 is a good deal.

I bought EDGE. At that price it would be daft no to.

But Assassins Creed. 55 fucking quid. GTF.

Yeah, bought Edge as well. What was the deal with Toki Tori 1/2+? If you buy them in a certain order, you get a discount? The first is priced 2 euro's, the second 15?

I want to say the deal is if you buy them in order, 1 then 2+, you get a discounted price on 2+. 1 was already at a discount price as of a few days ago, sounds like it still is. As freezamite will tell you, though, they could both be a lot more expensive and they'd stills well worth picking up. (I hear freezamite offered his life savings for a chance to play Toki Tori 3 early. ;) )

I pledged already for Festival of Magic. I'm not pledging anything for the games that have huge stretch goals for Wii U.

FAST Racing NEO

That is looking so good. I hope in-game graphics have the same style. I like the design, it's clearly futuristic, while you can still very much see a car in it. I just hope they don't clutter the UI with an ugly font like they did with Nano Assault. The only thing they still need is a good typographer.

I hope that they show us something very soon.

I'll wait until they drop the price (as they did with all their games recently). £55 is just too much.

And everyone should get Edge and Toki Tori for the price they are charging.

Same here. Holy crap at some of these goals. I'm hoping that Dex is resonable because I'll definitely pledge. I'm thinking of pledging to Festival of Magic, too. Both of those look good. I was interested in Beyond Flesh and Blood, but 80,000 pounds seems rather hefty.

funny i was playing jett rocket 2 last night and was like eewww, i coulda picked a better font,

I can't get over how expensive the Wii U stretch goals are in some of these in relation to other consoles.

Yeah, at least some are now putting the wiiu in the release goal but with a much bigger one for a day 1 one. Like Paradise Lost which looks great.

Thanks man, I'm glad to hear this; we plan to check it out today as long as we can pull ourselves away from Mario.

For that price it's a little gem. And it's quite challenging if you want to get best times. It's that kind of game that was pretty much missing on the system until now. The game that you can pick up for a quick 5-10 minutes fun. Of course you can play it even longer, I enjoyed it a lot.

So I tried Edge and I should probably mention my wife and I both get chronic migraines. I really wish there was a way to play this without the cube blinking so much. I realize that probably sounds silly but blinking lights like that a big migraine trigger, especially for my wife. She also has had seizures in the past, so she really just can't play it regardless. I did watch the trailer before buying the game but I figured the psychedelic-ness of the trailer would be more bombastic than in the actual game. It's too bad, it seems like a really fun game and I love both Toki Toris. I do plan to see if I can try some of the puzzles on my own and see how much it affects my head. Migraines are no fun though, and I get them pretty much daily anyways, but I don't want to make them any worse than they are (TMI probably, but there are also a lot of foods I'd like to eat but can't as soy and a number of other foods are major migraine triggers--so no sushi for me in a long time).

That kinda sucks, is there not tinted glasses you can get to prevent that sorta thing or to at least reduce the effect?

Interesting, I hadn't considered that. I do have clip-ons for my glasses but they kind of suck and I don't think I'd be able to see the game that well. I have the same issue with 3D games/movies so we play 3DS with the 3D off and we don't see movies in 3D. The strobe/blinking effect itself would be there. It would be really nice if there was a way to turn that off. In the meantime, we did play some more of The Cave and that game is great and very clever.

One thing worth trying is emailing/tweeting/posting a miiverse comment to Two Tribes and let them know about this.
