Finally the PS3 feature we've been waiting for. While Dalton couldn't give specific examples, when the Wii U version was originally going to be shown it featured the ability to change equipment on the fly.

Yeah, I'm not really a fan of how DKCR looks. It has it's moments, but over all it's pretty blah.

Neither AM I, the game was nice, but not something I expected from RETRO.
Wii U footage is still NDA'd. I am positive those NDAs have not expired yet.
It seems incredibly likely (though I guess not 100% impossible) that someone fucked up and released Wii U screenshots.
I suspect that third parties, citing HD development costs, will go to the $60 price point, and that Nintendo will feel pressured into following suit. If Nintendo were to undercut them at $50, they'd whine to no end about how they have no chance competing against Nintendo titles that have much more prestige and a smaller pricetag.

That's pretty much what I figured.

What are you guys going on about? DKCR looked fantastic and had great visual moments such as this:

Are we seriously still doing that "Retro can only produce this or disappointed total" thing? =/
The silhouette levels were very nice, but everything else was quite generic looking. It was better than NSMBW though. What are you guys going on about? DKCR looked fantastic and had great visual moments such as this:

You can spot a human head in the bottom right corner. Hmmmm?
bleh, sorry, but, bleh.
Like I said, I think we'll know if that screenshot was an unintentional leak later tonight![]()

Cutscene CG?]
It's not Wii U footage lol

Yeah, 2D Mario and Donkey Kong need awesome hand-drawn environments.
2.5D should die.![]()
You can, the game just has to sell poorlyWhich would make that the single worst thing so far about next gen. I still need to go and buy SMG2 but I'm sure it's still $50. You can't wait Nintendo out. I saw SMB3 for $60 at target.![]()
That NDA must be really punishing. I bet Nintendo has the right to suck up the soul of the concerned company
The penalty is that if your company leaks information, you have to let Cammie be the one to do your E3 conference.
I say its a CGI cut-scene as there is no hud on the screen.
Hey, it beats Jammie Kennedy
RETRO should make either
- b) Metroid Prime 4.
And nothing else.
Seriously.
.
I wouldn't be at all surprised if Nintendo have handed the Geist IP to Retro.
Market does not respond to hand-drawn anymore.
Sorry, guys! But when the NSMB Wii buying audience sees sprites, they think the game is archaic.

Definitely PC shots.
And I like both DKC art styles =/
Don't be reasonable
Yes there is.What? There is no PC version...
Yes there is.
Are we talking about DS2?Source? I can't find any reference to a PC version.

Hey, I see a cursor...but maybe it's just these blasted shrooms talking.
RETRO should make either
- a) A new FPS with a cool gameplay mechanic and plot or
- b) Metroid Prime 4.
And nothing else.
Seriously.
Plus, both these things fit in with the whole "something everyone wants us to do" thing.
