Just wanted some thoughts or sales figures on the matter, because I'm not sure if it has or hasn't yet.

As for me, I think it's already happened, but if not, it will happen within the next year...

I think the 65M figure of GBA is inflated due to multiple owners (for example, GBA and SP owners). Still, an impressive number.
