this is really looking like it's realising the full potential of what they tried to do with Windows Phone 7, and fully convincing me to order one this week when Verizon start selling them.

hopefully slumming it on NoDo won't be too bad for a few months :)

i love how tightly integrated everything is, and that's what i want from a phone.

just hope the integration for, maybe the movie search thing they demo atm, will work everywhere and not just in NA, like most of bings features do

Damn, so no AIM support?
Why would they natively support a wlm competitor other than the obvious fb. The APIs should allow for a chat ap though. Come on I know you know this already :P

Seriously... I am blown away at how well they have presented the phone experience. Simple, elegant and engaging! Kudos MS, kudos!

I'm watching a liveblog and this looks very, very nice.

application/ OS integration like that movie search and IMDB app stuff is a good idea.

haha, mall maps. that's awesome. (I could use that instead of searching for the mall info kiosk on the opposite end of the mall sometimes.)

The rumors said AIM support also, that's why I was surprised to see it not be mentioned.

Can't wait for the tweens to take a picture of their penis and find out what's on the internet.... Sexting to the next leve. Bing Vision FTW!

"The good news is, we're not going to make you wait............mango will be out in the fall"

lol!

Looks really good though, if the right hardware comes out and iphone 5 is september i might just jump ship.

Son of a bitch... I'm gonna have to see the new WP7 hardware now as this might make me hold off getting a phone this summer. *shakes fist at Microsoft*

Don’t get why people want new hardware for WP7 when it runs buttery smooth on all the current specifications.
not that i'm going to wait, but i can understand if someone doesn't want a WP7 without mango, that they'd wait to get one with mango on one of the new handsets that'll be available by the time it comes out.

Now watch as this gets barely any press.

which is what MS has to overcome. They have some more mindshare with the press because they are Microsoft, but people already gloss over them because of lack of sales. They basically need to relaunch the product with Mango, this is what it should have launched with, if everything pans out it looks great.
