I'm kind of disappointed that so much of the stuff they showed is stuff they had already officially announced. We didn't see the majority of the stuff that's rumored, including turn-by-turn navigation. I hope they are all there, heh.

I hope they'll show more of the new Games Hub at E3. We still don't know what this "automatic sync" for games is about.

not that i'm going to wait, but i can understand if someone doesn't want a WP7 without mango, that they'd wait to get one with mango on one of the new handsets that'll be available by the time it comes out.

Maybe im just punch-drunk with my Beautiful & elegant Samsung Omnia 7. LOL

Wow that's interesting. I wonder if it automatically syncs your achievements, added friends, ect.

Man, WP7 is the mobile OS with the most potential in the world. It just needs that stunning handset that appeals to the masses. The launch handsets were all android devices re-purposed for WP7. Hopefully we'll get some unique experiences this fall.

Belfiore was busy filming the intro video for Mango.

That's already in. You have one account for Xbox Live on the Xbox and Windows Phone, it syncs the achievements from your Xbox Live mobile games, you can send a message to your friends that are online with the Xbox and compare achievements.

IMO the biggest hindrance is pictures of the OS. Its kinda "different but unsure" reactions. Seeing the OS in person helps it make more "sense". The elegance is lost with a static picture. I was iffy about it, but its definitely beautiful and impressive in person, was waiting on today to see mango

I missed the first half of the presentation but from the leaked lists was there anything on those lists that was missing in the presentation today? Specifically I have heard nothing about the rumored turn by turn navigation stuff that has been talked about.

He's not making a new thread but do we really need a new thread for mango?

I guess we don't, really. It's just that judging by most other threads where WP7 is mentioned, most of GAF is pretty ignorant on MS's direction and planned improvements. Just wanted to get some word out.

Although since they're obviously dropping the "7", could always make a new OT with Mango info.

They didn't demo Turn-by-Turn navigation, but said they'd show more of mango in the coming weeks.

Don’t get why people want new hardware for WP7 when it runs buttery smooth on all the current specifications.
Because everything but the buggy Dell Venue Pro look ugly and looks are everything.

Also, LTE / HSPA+.

Mango with the MSN integration and switching from chat medium to chat medium has renewed my interest in WP7.

I'm sooo tempted to get a WP7 now even though Mango is not for a while. I hate waiting :( . I like the look of the Samsung Focus a lot. I guess I'm just wondering if the there will be much of an upgrade for the guts of the phone come Fall.

The Omnia looks ugly??

It doesn't have to be an all new OT. Just a thread that goes over the new stuff in Mango. This thread would remain the OT for Windows Phone.

You might be able to score a focus on ebay cheap (that way you don't waste your upgrade).... I have the focus and its an awesome phone but I will be jumping to the first good nokia phone that hits. Really want the faster 4g speeds on my phone and potential front facing camera for when skype gets integrated.

There were reports that Focus's are being pulled from some stores--announcement soon? I love my Focus.

i can see why you want to make a new thread, but making a new thread would just confuse people. i say we stick to this OT until mango actually comes out, remb theres still more information to come.

Well with the new Mango update coming I am 100% locked in for getting my new phone on the 27th.
glad to see i'm not the only one.

the Trophy looks like a decent all round phone. shame there's no slide out keyboard option, but i can always upgrade later.

For people who have the Focus, have you upgraded the internal memory? If you put in a microSD card does the total memory include the internal still?

The new weather channel app looks pretty sweet how you can map multiple locations to the start screen and the tile flips over to show the current radar. Once that hits we will never really need to go into the app anymore.

I have a 16 gig card in mine.... works flawlessly but I have a friend who also got one and has all kinds of trouble with his. Its very much a crapshoot on how well it will work for you.

Yes. I had a 2GB card laying around and my total memory is now 10GBs. I couldn't get an 8GB card to recognize though so make sure your card is compatible.

Someone please tell me Smart DJ is in, at work, didn't hear anything about it. Very pleased to hear about linked mailboxes, that'll save me an extra home screen spot near the top. Shit is prime real estate.

Overall, mango looks delicious.

Well as long as the screen has feed back im fine with no keyboard, Would have loved a keyboard though but oh well :)

Yes, but you need to wipe/hard reset after inserting the card. I installed a 16GB card and it's been working fine (I have a Samsung card). There are now certified cards you can use now, as well.

The only thing holding me back from whooping uncontrollably is the lack of confirmation of turn by turn navigation with voice navigation.

Anyone heard anything?

No Google Talk integration?

:(

Definitely in for WP7 once that hardware refresh appears and when Sprint receives one without a keyboard.

I'm not sure what you mean, because I'm using the Nagivon software and it is just like on the other devices. I'm not sure where you live, but since I have the function I doubt it's just not available due to hardware/software limitations. :/
