I just noticed that we have more than 10k posts in this thread. That's more than both WebOS and the Playbook threads (lol) combined. Yay. Then I checked the top 10 posters ...

Time to bail ...

Is there a listing of carriers where visual voicemail works? Certainly not working on AT&T.
Not sure, but T-Mobile works.

You won't be charged. Once the trial ends, you need to choose a billing option. You can't even cancel the trial because it cancels itself after the 14 days.

Awesome, thank you for clarifying.

Two things:

1) I deleted and re-synced my Twitter account. If I understand correctly, it should place ALL my Twitter contacts in the People hub and if I wanted to see them separately I can choose that option. I've tried that, and let it sit overnight and I still have no contacts showing up, but I can see my Twitter feed through the People hub. Am I doing something wrong? I've waited and waited and nothing has come of it. Do I need to re-sync yet again? I even went to the Live website and checked to see if there was anything along the lines of trying to approve it much like getting Facebook chat to work, but there's no Twitter there.

2) How do you get correct artwork to show up in Zune? All the artwork is there on my iTunes, but a lot is missing on the phone itself. I'm using the OSX connector, obviously.

I need a breakdown of how to get to 7712. I've got a walshed 7390 Samsung Focus. How do I get to the newest update?
Sometimes I think my posts are hidden so no one can see them.

Tonight I start the great update debacle after recording the podcast. I'm borderline going to register for the app hub just to make it simple/legit.

I'm experiencing the same problem. Can't link current contacts with their twitter profiles. I'd like to see a video of how this is done, maybe I'm not doing it correctly.

I'd like to help, but I never had a walshed phone. Guess you first need to fix that before proceeding? And yes, one way is to do it as a registered developer (quite simple) or the work around (which I have no idea how it's done).

May just want to take a look at xda, should be all kinds of information there. I got an apphub membership by using a really old edu email so I did mine thru legitimate means.

I subconsciously ignore posters without avatars, so that could be it? :)

Mine is working, but it seems to be spotty..

I am having to delete my twitter account and re-add it for it to display new people I am following.

I'd be surprised if this isn't cleared up in the RTM version.. many people seem to be having trouble getting it to work.

How can I know If my Optimus 7 has the latest firmware?

Also: Can only NoDo devices update to the one release two weeks ago?

anyone else on the new mango beta notice a hint of lag when waking up your phone? I'm rocking a Focus, and not only does the clock/notification area lag, there is just overall lag when waking the phone.

I have heard of some people on xda claiming that that info lags/fades in, looks perfectly normal on my Focus though.

The information appearance fades in a little slower than it did in Nodo.. I don't know if this change was intentional or if it is a bug, but sometimes it feels a little slower than it should.

My notification area doesn't get lagged, though.

So I bought this today hoping I can slip my Focus in without too many...adjustments. Just love the idea of combining my wallet and phone.

Isn't the focus a fair amount wider?

It's pretty variable for me. Like I said earlier (ignored?) sometimes it fades in at the same rate as the rest of the screen but othertimes it tends to lag by about half a second.

Only started happening since the second Mango update for me.

I started posting in this thread late. If anything, brotkasten is the one who should be worried. But I'll never catch him as long as MS keeps giving him reasons to complain. And they will.

Like I said, I'm the worst OP/fanboy ever. :lol

Wow, I just tried a couple of games on 7712 and I swear that performance has just skyrocketed. Both Doodle Jump and (amazingly) ilomilo seem to be running at over 30fps. Maybe it's just placebo.

It feels faster, but I don't think it can be over 30 fps. Mango lifted the 30 fps limit on XNA games, but the developers still have to flip the switch from 30 hz to 60 hz. An update for Doodle Jump and Fruit Ninja would be great.

It will be interesting to see how much better Hydro Thunder runs on the new GPU.

So wondering if anyone else has this annoying problem with their phone.

It often takes hours and hours for my text messages to get to someone. We can be chatting along back and forth and then the next day I get a reply "Did you just send this?" Of course I had sent it the day before and thought they just got too busy to reply.

This has happens for months now. Even as I have lived in different areas of the country and now all my friends are getting to the point where it is an easy joke towards my phone and WP7 in general.

I have the Quantum and outside of that its running great.

Anyone else?

They hate Windows over there?

So how do they play Hentai games?

I never said they hate Windows or any of the brands, but lets be honest, who really likes Office? I associate it with work and it's pretty good to get the job done (2010 is really good), but I don't like it. I know few people that feel the same about Windows.

But anyway, we have bigger news. Now that Mango is done and almost out there, Microsoft does what they always do and love.
@joemarini:Wait till you see what we have planned for next year! Windows Phone Continues to Dominate in Marketplace Growth http://j.mp/oMpble #wp7
Not this shit again, ffs. :lol

It's a tweet, who gives a shit? Why not focus on the link which shows that, even with crappy hardware sales, the marketplace momentum has not slowed down? As a device owner, that's the part that's most exciting.

The problem with a new OS is that, usually, the apps situation is directly tied to hardware sales. MS should be given credit for the apps situation and the fact that there is still a lot of developer excitement around the platform. Every week, I get a new app that I thought I'd have to leave behind when I left iOS and Android. Not only is it unexpected given the platform's slow growth, its downright bizarre. And yet here we are, barreling towards 30k apps (or more) and app acceleration is INCREASING? Really? You have to figure at some point the reality of hardware sales will slow down app development, and yet with the mango release devs will have even more tools and so the app growth is unlikely to slow down this year.

What's this rant about? That tweet was actually GOOD NEWS, despite the Apollo tease.
