The show is pretty boring for now. It's pretty much all setup... or is it? It's slowly looking like it's just gonna turn into some slice of life comedy or something.
Do you at least like the music?
I pretty much stopped watching Rinne and Another because I wanted to marathon them after they were done airing.

Nope, I didn't particularly care for the OP or ED, and the soundtrack was bland enough so that I don't even remember it at this point.

Shiro - Deadman Wonderland (questionble on her "character", but damn it she was the only reason I watched that shit).
There's probably a few more but they don't fit the criteria.

When it's trying to be a slice of life comedy is the only time Rinne is decent. When it does serious, it's pretty awful and uninteresting. The drama and politics in the show are not done well at all.

I.. I think I just got violated!
I think this is in genuine contention to make it onto THAT LIST, everyone is so serious about the most nonsensical things for reasons unknown with motivations I don't understand (at least I think she mentioned a reasoning), I mean they haven't really explained the other world yet everyone is getting all dramatic and serious about the ramifications of what BRS can do, I'm still in awe that they pulled out that card.
Maybe my brain just gave up working halfway and I went insane.

Souta and Shu's scene when Souta kept backing away and then Shu just grabbed his hand, and it led to Souta being all sorry and wishing to be friends was so touching and heartwarming. It made my eyes water. I was afraid they wouldnt make up by the end of the anime but Im so glad they did. Souta and Yahiro definitely the best.

Just watched Redline.
Wow. That show is some intense machine on machine, engine grinding, metal crunching, violent dirty machine porn.
I'm in love with the animation and the art style. JP is pretty awesome and so is the female lead. Some great stuff here. I might go more into detail about it later. Its pretty nuts.

Really though, that was alright for compressing four dialogue-heavy chapters into one episode. And now with the key
, they're free to move on with a bunch of great stories that relied on aforementioned plot point. Looking forward to the second year of the series!

Oh wow, I did not see that twist coming.
Damn Dezaki, you got me.
This show really feels like a an 80's anime that time traveled to the 90's. Obviously a lot of that has to do with Dezaki's directing, but in general most aspects of the show feel like something from another time so to speak. The only clear weak link in the show thus far is the music, which mostly sucks. Really digging the atmosphere and the cast though, these guys truly feel like bodacious pirates...even though they are whale hunters.

I didn't expect things to go down the way they did. Kitty gets gunned down in a completely pointless manner by complete chance. It worked better than I figured the inevitable death would.
