The best way to get discussion going is to be nigh-universally praised (e.g. Madoka, Usadrop), be comically bad (BRS, Glass Fleet) or be extremely polarizing (Bake/Nise, K-On)

Well now, that may have been some incredibly nonsensical melodrama, but it was far more memorable than the content that preceded it. I'm actually okay with this. This is entertaining, perhaps not in the way originally intended by the director, but who cares about them anyway?
What I'm not okay with is a show actually having counsellors - how are kids supposed to deal with problems by themselves if adults keep butting in? Well, at least she dispatches terrible advice.
The fact its not cute is what makes it cute. She is truly the definitin of hnnnnnnng. Girls like Erio wish they had half as many n's in their hng level.
She's just adorable. I don't even know her role in the show and until I see it, I don't care. she is just hnnnng. That's all I have to go by regarding her.
I just can't see any cute in there. :(

It's impossible to take anything you say seriously while you have an inferior Loliball as your avatar.
Has it been confirmed anywhere that Gintama's going to stop? It seems obvious that it'll happen due to the schedule, their current adaptations of New Years and Christmas stories, and also the way the anime barely has any manga material left at this point (Well, aside from a certain arc, but I'm sure they'll keep it for the anime's return, like how they went straight to the timeskip story), but the lack of announcements is kind of odd too.

Yes, Gintama references its own Wikipedia article.
Tis sad. It appears we have two more weeks left before Gintama' comes to a close. Starting April 2 Gintama is being replaced with this. A one year hiatus gave us one years worth of anime before it caught back up to the manga. No word, but I fully expect Gintama to return in 2013.

I'm conflicted on Gintama going on hiatus again. On the one hand it makes it easier for me to catch up to it but on the other hand once I finally do there'll be no new epsiodes to look forward to.
When it comes to Natsume Yuujinchou, the episodes that focus on Natsume's past and flesh him out as a character are easily some of my favourite and this was no exception. I was worried that this was gonna drag on like prior multi-episode arcs but thankfully it has a rather satisfying conclusion with the follow-up to take place next episode. Definitely looking forward to the next (and potentially last) episode of Natsume Yuujinchou Shi.
There's some pretty action that takes place in an undefined location that doesn't seem to serve any purpose other than to look cool. I'm kind of bothered by how there's apparently no consequences for any of this action and destruction, but not so much that I can't enjoy the spectacle.

I pretty much dropped Another when I realised it's gonna be an anime version of Final Destination. Well, that and getting spoiled on what happens pretty much killed any motivation for me to continue watching it. Saying that Mei's pretty cute and the gif's are pretty funny.
So Kaito and Ichika are still being cute and lovey dovey, but naturally Kanna is depressed. ;_; Tetsuro's been covering for Kanna and telling them she has a cold. Kanna continues to be completely blind to Tetsuro, who can read her like an open book. It's weird, I feel worse for Tetsuro's situation than I do for Kanna's, despite how hnnngtastic she is.
Mio baking in nothing but an apron.... *nosebleed* She's heading over to see how Kanna's doing and Tetsuro nearly slips but recovers nicely. I like how Mio's concern that Tetsuro had gone to Kanna's place was conveyed with just a squeezing of the bag she was holding. Nice touch!
Ichika's really cute when she snuggles up with Kaito. Just thought I'd mention that. And Remon's filming it in all its glory! XD
Remon. You just win! Have I said that before? Because you do.
Best present ever!
A true friend, you are!
Mio asks Tetsuro a question that I've wondered since the beginning, in that why did he invite Ichika to be in the movie in the first place. I've always wondered if he had the ulterior motive of getting Kaito to hook up with another chick so that Kanna would possibly give up on him. But then later he seemed to be hooking them up anyway so I discarded that idea for a while, but then Mio brings it up and confirms I wasn't 100% crazy to think that, though Tetsuro flatly denies it. I'm inclined to believe him because he doesn't seem to be trying to split them up (and as he said, he never thought Ichika would say "Yes" when he asked). He's spent the better part of the show trying to get them together, even flat out telling Kaito that she liked him and hoping that would inspire him to look at her differently. However, Mio can tell he likes Kanna and finally tells him that outright even though she's hinted it to him in the past. Mio's actually kind of schooling Tetsuro ("Why are you lying to yourself!") and basically gives his own advise to her back to him.
Tetsuro... don't look a gift horse in the mouth. You realize this is going to bite you in the ass later. At least, if you don't end up with Kanna later.
Kaito asks Ichika if he can help her find the place she's looking for, and she clarifies that while she was looking for that place originally, it was moreso an excuse to start traveling. Kaito says the movie was the same for him; just an excuse to do something that might lead to something better.
Tetsuro is angsting over Kanna, when Kaito calls asking if he wants to start filming again. After confirming that they got together, Tetsuro in one of his rare moments of anger asks "What about Kanna?". Kaito responds that's why it's all the more important for them all to get together and sort this out properly. It's like what Mio told him earlier finally hit him like a ton of bricks when Kaito did as well. That you gotta come clean or nothing will change. He invites Kanna out the next day, and finally admits the truth. "I wanted you and Kai to be happy, but I didn't want to see it either!" He had, deep down, hoped that Kaito and Ichika would end up together so that she'd give up on Kaito and look at him. Kanna doesn't believe it at first until Tetsuro confirms he was serious. Kanna's half-mad that he had bad timing what with her finally just getting on her feet again, but you can see how relieved Tetsuro is to have finally said it. Tetsu, you need a bro hug!
... HNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNG MIO YOU ARE SUPER AWESOME!!!! That caught me totally off guard! So awesome! XD
Kanna runs off to tell Kaito her feelings. And despite knowing she's going to lose out, she too looks incredibly happy. Kaito tells her he likes Ichika (and wasn't uncomfortable in saying so, I like that), Kanna admits to him that she knew that anyway.
And I had a feeling this was coming! Ichika's sister shows up for a nice little cliffhanger!!!
I don't know how each episode of this show continues to top the previous ones, but somehow it does and I'm loving it.
So just as everyone seems to have finally worked out and come to terms with their relationship issues, we get the final curveball in the form of Ichika's sister's sudden arrival from space.
Also, there was more
GLASSES CLACK
for firehawk.
e: man, now I feel like an underachiever posting this weak impression right after RurouniZel's marathon of a writeup.

was orgasmically awkward and over the top. And while I've been either discomforted or at least annoyed by the many deaths in this series, this episode's managed to make me laugh out loud. The tense atmosphere in the dining room being suddenly interrupted by
Asthma-kun's gasping wheezes, that kid waving around the inhaler while Asthma-kun was suffocating to death, and then him sliding his face back and forth across the table to say "no" when asked if he had a backup inhaler -- it was glorious.
Finally, Teshigawara exclaiming "I think I might have done something bad!" as though he had made some embarrassing goof after
cutting to a blatantly dead body
was the perfect send off for this magnificent episode.
Nestled between all this, however, was an (intentionally!) good scene with Mei opening up to Sakakibara and serving up some delicious plot reveals. I thought it was a surprisingly nice touch to have
death's presence
be a foreign color rather than something stupid like a number, a word, or some other recognizable form.
Shit is getting super real next episode. Whether it'll be genuinely good, so-bad-it's-good, or both, I don't care. I can't wait.
This is the stupidest thing I've watched all year. I want every single one of the characters in both the normal world and other world to die a horrible death
except Kagari, she's ok
I need to watch Ano Natsu now to abate the rage coursing through me.
