I kind of want to watch Ano Hana now just so I can properly appreciate that story.
Yeah and the Ghost Writer thing was so deep and profound?
It enhances the show more than them hypothetically getting 26 episodes to tell the story would've ever done.
The only part I could relate to was when they were playing Pokemon

That was a bright spot. It was part of the magical first few episode that were quite good. You could see the decline in real time as people dropped out of Team Ano Hana week by week after the 3rd or 4th episode.
and people wonder why average user scores are meaningless!

I always have it bookmarked, saved for posterity. The timing of watching it right before that last episode enhances my love for it exponentially.

Who cares about the fact that 1 anime is like 1.5% better than the other anime according to MAL user ratings? All that matters is that they are both good anime.
I will always be part of Team Ano Hana. Even though it's an awful anime, I will never join Team Boring.

It's the ultimate vindication for those who argue that anime is best storytelling medium on the planet =^_^=
As you can see, Black Rock Shooter has its detractors, but they're generally deranged individuals with terrible taste and resort to calling people who disagree with them liars. You'd be a fool to miss out on the defining animated work of the past ten years because a single person thinks you shouldn't watch it. The viewing experience is akin to sharing an expensive box of macaroons with a friend.
Don't you talk about Makise Kurisu that way.

The anime had good OST, animations and art but I don't like how the characters can't die...It makes the whole conflict seems completely idiotic and pointless. Why bother to even fight? I only saw the first episode lol. IMO Higurashi is kinda underrated in general. I found it to be one of the best series of the decade.

You know, now that I get a better look at a still shot the character models do look pretty dull.
Even if I was actually willing to watch Angel Beats, I probably wouldn't because that picture is sooooooooooo good without any context and I don't want to ruin that.
