This was pretty good. Switch from Gonzo to KyoAni is pretty evident, particularly in the facial expressions.
Don't know why the girl was waiting for Sousuke to come after he blew up his locker. She had to have heard of that. And the warehouse...shit! When it comes to protecting Chidori, Sousuke does not fuck around. Is that lady and her gang going to try and fuck with him again after that? I don't think the gang wants anything to do with him after that.

Yes, a post-Gunbuster world is never quite the same! I just think that its sense of agency, coupled with the amount of stuff they amount to fit into that extremely short time-frame ,
(or not, as the case may be!)
Perhaps a little too ambitious for its own good, but I love it all the more for that.

As first impressions go, that was a good one. Perhaps it speaks to a little bit to adjusted expectations, what with Kill la Kill looming in my mind - and what seems to amount to a general ambivalence around here, but I really liked what I saw. Stylistically, it lines up almost perfectly with my sensibilities, because its not often that something is just so damn colourful and vibrant. The OP really conveys that right off the bat, which gives me confidence that this show knows what identity it's striving for, unlike that aforementioned disappointment.
Definitely too early to be making any sweeping proclamations, but it looks promising.
The ending was a gag, but I would be perfectly fine with an episodic format, in lieu of a more serialized plot. It seems like the perfect framework for that kind of flippancy.

Gundam Build fighters - 15
I was left with a cliffanger last week and a freaking hype while i was at work ...
So to summarize my feeligns right now :
Incredible

i don't know what to think, this was like something i couldn't have expected like this from a Tv animated series without the wonders of the current animation techniques.
I was fluid , tactical , technical , well choegraphed , so much well done.
This episode fight was so freaking great that you could ignore all the other stuff that happenned ..the confirmation about reiji , the ninja , the mystery of the particles or even the preview showing

All of it was great .. it worked and i'm 600% satisfied.
I mean the fight started with a freaking headbutt. then we had intense beam dodge fight , terrain tactics , guerrilla tactics , felllini flashbacks and the list goes on . it was magnificent

Well they were introduced at the start of camp, though I guess its easy to overlook them.
In any event, Teshima and Aoyagi are great characters and deserve to stick around. love that Teshima realizes hes just a normal guy that loves bicycles and will at least be smart and try to excel at something while he can. Teshima is my favorite of the two and I like them most for the perfect teamwork and such. Kind of wonder what would happen if Naruka and Imaizumi could team up and such

One thing I didn't like about the fight is how Felini botched that one stab with the saber. Reiji had just missed him, and he was right next to the SBS Gundam, yet he manages only to stab the lower left of the torso and not straight in the middle?
I'm glad that in the end it was a draw and the protags didn't outright win but still. I thought that was a bit fishy.

It was more plot driven than I was expecting, but there were just weird threads left hanging. The subject matter was kind of serious at times but the jokey tone just didn't really fit right in most instances for me. Then there was just like...all these loose ends that were just unresolved. This girl is transformed into another girl, but what happens to the girl she was transformed into? It seems crazy that the show wouldn't touch on that at all. To not even acknowledge that she might've wiped this other girl's existence from the planet is super strange. I get that she will probably show up again and factor into the story more (because they spent time on the character design), but it just seems weird for it to completely slip mentioning what happened to the other half of this exchange. It's like the show rushed itself into establishing a status quo.

This remains one of my favorite episodes of the series, but then I really go in for its brand of surreal storytelling.
I usually do too. Probably would have been more receptive if I'd started a session with it rather than riding off the sub combat stuff previously. It's certainly the most unique episode thus far.

From what I hear from people who keep up with the latest chapters of the manga,
#TeamUomi is currently in the lead somehow.
This really doesn't seem like the kinda show to go that route but I'm actually interested to see how it gets to that point.
This show isn't always funny but I lost my shit at that scene.

Kept thinking of the Blues Brothers scene where they're driving through a beach and wheat fields and such advertising their show throughout the episode.
That was pretty weird when they came through on that conveyor" belt and surprised that packer dude. I'da just been like "...Hi" Also the whole precinct was made up of Naughty Detectives fanboys.
Headmistress is kinda getting ahead of herself here. A joint summer tour? A new unit between both Soleil and Tristar? Come on girl, let them build their reputation for a while. Also your name for it sounds too much like "Star Anus".
