so duders, how did Golden Time turn out? Heard about the ghost thing but is that like show-killing or just some quirk that you can gloss over?

It was show-killing for me, but I think I'm the only one who actually dropped the show over frustration with all that business. So YMMV I guess?
it's in the synopsis

Banri Tada is a newly admitted student at a private law school in Tokyo. Due to the after-effects of an accidental fall from a bridge shortly after high school graduation, he lost all his memories from before then. At the time of the accident, Banri's soul had escaped from his body, and the "Spirit of Banri Tada" came into being, carrying his memories from before his mishap.

That thread in OT is making me a bit more interested in Nichijou. Though my plate is getting a bit full at the moment so I may leave it on the backburner.

you would like spice and wolf.Is Spice and Wolf and Initial D worth picking up? I see it's on Netflix and need something new to watch now that I'm done with X-files.

Alright. It sounded like people ITT don't like the show because of some ghost plot, but the synopsis mentioned right away there would be ghosts. Hence my confusion.
I watched all 25 episodes of SAO week after week, and then I watched the 100 minute Extra Edition yesterday. NO REGRETS!

wait some people like SAO better than log horizon?
I'll give Nichijou a dhot
I like Nichijou, but I stopped watching it around episode 10. Should go back to it, but I always end up kind of fatigued with those episodic slice of life comedies. Same thing happened with Polar Bear Cafe.
