A few sweet moments between Taiga and Ryuji with one scene that... well happened. (pool scene; those who watched know what I mean)

I love the ribbing between Taiga and Ami. It's always funny. Minorin is still hilarious in the short time she was on (she never gets enough screen time). The story feels like it's advancing now with characters and their relationships with one another. So it feels like the show has established what it wanted and is now moving forward with it which is a plus in my book.

The first half of the OP has actually grown on me with the second part is still weird. I wish they chose a different song for the OP. JC Staff are usually a lot better with their OP's. So it's unusual for me to not really get into a OP. It's throwing me off.

Edit: Staff. I meant to say JC Staff. Lol I am tired.

I cannot wait until you get to the 2nd half

And yeah to the above other folks, It's RomCom, but the melodrama is SO HEAVY its so good. Woo for adaptation Okada.

There's a second ED too. While I personally LOVE Vanilla Salt (it's basically my favorite anime ED ever), you'll find a lot of people here in AnimeGAF who like the second ED more. And I really like it, too. Just not as much as the first.

So don't worry, both EDs are awesome. Yui Horie can do no wrong

Clannad felt like a RomCom with like the first 2-5 episodes then it got dramatic. Obviously it's a formula that works.

Come for the comedy, stay for the drama type of deal.

I look forward to the second half too. People say some good stuff goes down. I expect to cry. If I don't I will be disappointed. Although I shouldn't. After Story has steeled me so it's gonna be hard for anything to top the last few episodes of After Story. It would be funny and cool to see if Toradora can do it.

Regardless, the end should be a fun ride.

As far as I can tell for now (cursory glance), only staff change is Shin Oonuma moves up to general director and Masato Jinbo takes over as normal director.

Aside from Fate/Zero, I think this is one of the Fate/series that more people like than not. I believe I've heard manga people say that 2wei really cranks it up beyond the first season, though I might be mistaken.

Fun fact: somebody at Kadokawa fucked up and, about a half hour before the reveal, accidentally posted a "there's an update coming soon" Twitter message to the official Date A Live account instead of the Illya one.

I enjoyed this episode a lot. Didn't think the Samba club would have competition but damn, Tea club looks awesome, Matsuri club seems alright, and the laid-back club sounds fun as well.

Funny how Tada actually stops for a second to question Caga's intention when she said what she did. It's funny trying to think that a girl who's supposedly ridiculously good looking and wealthy feeling invisible. As she passes most dudes probably stop to do a double take. The whole thing about her having an aura about being unaproachable is really interesting, since just a while ago I was thinking of something like this. Is it because she's so good looking that guys are afraid to speak to her because she'd be "out of their league" or because she'd be arrogant due to beauty? I'm sure something similar could be said if the genders were switched as well. I didn't think the show would touch on something like that but I'm glad it did.

Kind of want to see when Tada will just move from pitying her and kind of distracting her from Yana to activelly pursuing her as shown in the OP. Can't help but feel sorry for Linda as well.

It does make me look forward to whenever I get around to watching Illya, though. I know I am going to love that show so much.

After Fresh, I've accepted that there is no such thing as good 2D dancing in Precure. But the CG dancing in the EDs makes up for it. And how.

Is the Isshuukan Friends manga well-liked? I've seen some anticipation for this, and am wondering if that's where it is coming from.

Personally, my anticipation is mostly just coming from the fact that the concept sounds really neat.

Wareta Ringo is indeed godly-level ED. Shin Sekai Yori in general is fairly art, though.

pre parade is a weird song. I like it but the second is better. Vanilla salt is so catchy though.

Manga creator Atsushi Ohkubo reported on Wednesday that he is working on the final volume of his Soul Eater Not! manga.

He first noted that he finished the manuscripts for the chapters that will run until the June issue of Square Enix's Monthly Shonen Gangan magazine, which will ship on May 12. He then explained that he is just entering the story in the final volume of the manga, and he wants to avoid spoilers before the upcoming anime airs.

He said that director Masakazu Hashimoto and the studio BONES are striving hard to make a good anime. He concluded that he wants people to watch the climax in the anime first.
