I feel like the fight between Nozaki-kun and Space Dandy is like a fight between a CBS sitcom and an NBC sitcom. It's sort of like by default, I have to cheer for the NBC sitcom even if I'm ambivalent to both. lol

That's the breaks with ranked lists. It favors the averages, unless one show really takes off. The only reason why Ping Pong isn't completely buried is because of all the #1 votes.

I feel like I've lost the plot to some extent (yeah, I was following the first 17 episodes fairly well), but it was still enjoyable with some good battles. Manny might be the most gullible character in all of existence.

Pretty much any scene with either Klim or Barara is comedy gold.

Probably. Shirobako was better than both, but I preferred Ping Pong to Dandy, although either would be worthy winners.

This is the first year where people actually cared about shorts anyway, because of Animator Expo.

I don't even know by what metric you would even put MeMeMe and Kaguyahime in the same category, other than the fact that they didn't air on television.

I'm not sure what I'd prefer. A straight top 10 would force people not to "waste" votes on something they really didn't care about, so it'd be more honest at least.

I really really really hope Barakamon makes it in the top 10 or even 5. That was one of the few shows this year to make me feel good inside, plus it was consistent. Every character was a pure joy to watch.

I disagree. Part of this is an attempt to be informative to the legions of unwashed masses who harp on about anime being full of child porn. Yes it would be 'stricter' but it also would cut down on the amount of information being given out.
