Akatsuki no yona - 18

The chase for the green dragon is over , not without some slight changes on the team dynamics.
Akatsuki%20no%20Yona%20-%2018.jpg

It seems nobody trully realise the past you both have...
Green dragon and hak are best buds, yona is burning with rage but finally act like a maiden sometimes and the story still manages to stay on course as this arc will slowly but surely reach the climax it deserves.

Can't wait .

Middle of the fight? Don't matter, it's always a good moment for fanservice
Actually, there is a big amount of fanservice in this ep.

So many roses eat your heart out Ikuhara!

So it seems Embryo-sama just convinced them with a mix of magical brainwashing and also speaking and attacking their weak spots. Salia needed love and someone who would respect and appreciate her, Ersha is manipulated through the children, Chris was saved by him and give her a friendship.
Of course it's Tusk kiss (lol) the thing tthat saves Ange.
We also see part of why Jill is focused on vengeance, part is blaming herself for falling into his brainwashing.

I'm glad that this is ending this season because my interest in this show is running out and this arc hasn't been particularly compelling. I wish they had used this opportunity to introduce some fresh characters because Furuya is too dull to carry a show and Sawamura forgetting how to pitch is just too much unnecessary drama.

Log Horizon Season 2, Episode 19

Just watched this episode and holy shit there are some revelations there. Next ep looks cool though it doesn't look from the preview like we'll get any more explanations, I guess they're saving those for the final couple of episodes? Or will they try for a season 3?

Aww.. why not, if they want to do it this is the appropriate time, Sawamura can made his glorious return at the end of season that interconnected to new season!

I asked a friend to recommend me "a harem anime where it isn't obvious which girl wins, and where there is a winner". First episode checked all the usual marks of the genre, but this is what I asked for, so I'll power on through.

Yeah, that's one of the few that chose a route and stuck to it.

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS my Monogatatari collection can continue.

Also fucking shit Zvezda is DVD only. I would've paid the high price for BDs.

We win some, we lose some, AWESOMEBEAR
I would gladly pay a bit more for Zvezda blurays too

Dennou Coil 3-4

So I'm willing to allow the given framework for why someone would have to physically dodge what amounts to a virtual attack (everything in the city is tied to a single "space" that everyone operates on with the AR goggle interface). But even if I was still having trouble with that concept I wouldn't have been able to deny how cool these last couple episodes were. Combination world building and super duper hacker battle that's personified really well with the on screen action. Loved it.

This right here is the only show I am bitterly envious about the US not getting it.

Whoa....they is so much I can say right now in this 2 episodes and so much stuff happened which I need to stop a bit to let it sink in here. For now, it's very well done in story and character development for the character you have to follow. Man...wish this show never end...

Just found out they is a blu ray version of this show....then found out it only release in Japan only. So sad as I am actually watching the English dub and it sound pretty good from the look of it.

A really great series. Towards the end it gets very confusing but just think it through.
Nothing else quite like it!

Jewelpet Magical Change, the 7th(!) season of the franchise, looks to be changing things up by pulling an Equestria Girls - the titular mascots turn into humans.

A nice complement to Show By Rock!!

s-seven? There are SEVEN series of Jewelpet!?

Ah, good.

Attack on Titan II doesn't even EXIST yet. Like, isn't that not coming out until 2016 or something? That one shouldn't even count!

Man, that stinks. Like, seeing ToonamiGAF's reactions to Madoka would be amazing.

yeah I would love to see toonamigaf confusion and despair from Madokawatch.

Koufuku Graffiti 6

Oh so that's where the lewd is.

I've always wanted to try eel, never really had a chance to.
There's no way after the ridiculous amounts of binge eating they've done in the first five episodes that THIS amount of food is what makes Ryou sick. I call shenanigans!

Eel is amazing. Slightly spicy and sweet with very distinct flavor unlike anything else.

Yoru no Yatterman Episode 6:

This episode was certainly a return to form after the lackluster outing last week. I am continually amazed at how this show can balance the melancholy with the humorous and even the uplifting, reminds me of One Piece now that I think about it.

LiSA's 'This Illusion' was certainly the best thing musically to come out of UBW. Man that OST was such a disappointment, so forgettable. Fukasawa really dropped the ball. He should have just done some remixes of the VN tracks instead.

The VN's soundtrack isn't all that good either except for a handful of notable tracks, I actually really liked Fukasawa's work on the adaptation. Come the soundtrack's release you'll all see that it's GOAT.

The VN soundtrack certainly isn't a masterpiece but at least it had some memorable tunes. Fukasawa's stuff sounds mostly like boring ambient stuff. But to his defense, the sound director didn't use the music all to well with a lot of cutting out during tense moments.

Hunter x Hunter - 43

Machine gun hands? This escalated quickly. What the fuck is up with that lady's vacuum cleaner. And now the supposedly strong Shadow Beasts cometh.
Though they don't look that menacing, well except that Diglett one. I have a feeling Paprika will see one of the Phantom's tattoo and rush to fight.

Maria the Virgin Witch - 6

A fair amount of development is accumulating this time around, as the main narrative is starting to push forward and converge with some of the characterization that Maria and Joseph had previously received, in addition to the attention given to others like Galfa and Ezekiel.

Admittedly, it's mildly disappointing though not quite unexpected to see the monk taking things in this direction. But the fact that he's not the only one on the opposite side of the argument helps balance the scales, in my opinion. He does get a funny scene too, so it's not like everything about him is dry and solemn.

Beyond that, I think the general atmosphere is focusing on the right elements. More specifically: the sex jokes have taken a backseat for the time being and are used less often, which might be relevant for those who were initially turned off by them. They might come back later on, naturally, but right now I think that shift helps deal with the increased levels of tension in the story.

Oh man. I don't even know where to begin with this shit. As weird and as awful as this sounds, I viewed a good chunk of the first half as feminist. This was mainly due to how females were trying to overthrow the established system, which is largely run by males. The single 'good-side' male is subservient to Ange after all. I feel awful typing that previous sentence due to the ridiculous amounts of gratuitous fanservice that are oriented for the male audience.
iRjpY5Ljkutz2.jpg

My exact reaction to Sayla's thirst.
However the 2nd cour has somewhat ruined any sort of notion in regards to that as Tusk has been the one bailing out Ange and also Embryo's dominance over the females. The only reason Ange broke out of the mindcontrol was due to Tusk kissing her. What the fuck. We don't even see Ange provide a good argument to Embryo.
Yes yes I know, what did I expect from a show where a wheelchair bound loli is whipping a naked human dragon hybrid on the floor, for not bringing her the right book. It's just whenever males get involved in the show, all the females' IQ scores just plummet and they start slicking themselves off. Well, at least the show is entertaining.
I mean like why is Ange viewing this as a negative? Dude did her a favor.

[Yatterman Night] - 6

This was a fairly average episode of Yatterman. I suppose the only big thing would be
the revalation that General Goro is the father of Alouette and Gatchan and the General's dog appears to their old god. I suppose I really should have seen this coming considering how few named humans exist in the show.

Oh and I suppose the opening scene
also raises some doubts over who is running the Yatter kingdom. We neither see nor hear either of the two 'rulers' so do they even exist? Have they been replaced by a computer? Etc etc.
