Yea it could be that your tastes have changed since then, but it is more likely that the show just doesn't appeal to you.
I should probably get around to Bebop....

Did someone save DTL's review? I never got around to reading it.Avoid it, as it just cant compare to modern series and is essentially a vintage dull relic anime of the past.

I hope you're happy, Jexhius. I had been planning on waiting for some miraculous price drop on one of the various Nadia dvd sets on amazon, but I decided to just buy it today. Why? Why do I do this to myself?
The spiral of self-loathing continues.
On a semi-related note, it's time to work on my first substantial animeish post for the first time in months.
You truly have the perfect life
Huh. When I started watching anime, this was one of the first recommended to me along with Raphxenon and Cowboy Bebop. Of all the early classics/masterpieces I watched, I hated the hell out of this one. I disliked the narrative and the characters in particular and found nothing of note about it as a whole. I should rewatch it one of these days to see if my earlier impressions are in line.

I dunno. I mean it's true that I do sit around drawing naked girls and drinking alcohol while my wife makes dinner, but it would be nice get outdoors a little more often. I live in downtown LA of all places.
I think one of the most satisfying things in life is overcoming your previous positions, of course, where and when it's beneficial. I've managed to practice self improvement by vowing not to necessarily be beholden to any previous opinions, predispositions or ideologies. Because of this, I reserve the right to change my opinion as I receive new information or character evolution. I've transcended myself and have become an amorphous blob.
Are you now an amoephous blob?
What.Avoid it, as it just cant compare to modern series and is essentially a vintage dull relic anime of the past.

You're soooo cute!
*glomps you

Go back to the previous threads to see his thoughts on the show. He wasn't a fan.
He's a married man cheeky!
Yeah, I grabbed the two complete editions thing on amazon for $50. There should be one left that's new, still. If not that, righstuf had complete 2 for $15 new and complete part 1 was like $25 new on half.com.Are there any copies left? I really want it.

I'm sure there's more options, but I just went with the amazon one because it was easier than messing with buying from two separate places and hoping it comes in before I leave for school again.
I think it's the voice he uses in One Piece that grates on me as it was the same as in that SM ep. I swear to god if he ruined YYH when I haven't finished it yet, I'mma cut a buggy. I saw he was Raditz too but for some reason I don't recall him hamming it up as much in the other roles.
I'm about to watch Yuri Yuri. Is it mainly just focusing on the characters all the way through?
Rich Man, Poor Woman - Episode 8
Oh my gawd! This show is a joy to watch, some of the best entertainment I have experienced in a long time!
A moment that would bring even the great DTL to his knees!
Everything from this point onwards was just crazy. The drama was so damn delicious!
It's not the end of the world when you have a Waifu by your side!
The soundtrack once gave made each scene very powerful:

3 episodes remaining + a special this Spring, bring it on!
Kokoro Connect 14-17
This arc really puts this show in my Top 3 of 2012. Everything was great and when I thought they went too far withthey pull back just a little so they wouldn't go overboard with it.Iori's problems
I know Sentai has the rights for it and have no faith that this will see a bluray release but this is an instant buy for me.
Best couple of 2012:
Inaba X Taichi
You're clinically insane.
One random episode of Bebop is better written, directed, animated, and voice-acted than probably everything I saw last year except Wolf Children.
The only thing I'm not entirely sure of is the consistency between the sets of the complete part 2 stuff when it comes to the movie. Some of the part 2 information I saw listed on some sites made mention of the film being included, but I'm not entirely sure if the one I purchased came with it or not. I assume it did, but I am only assuming. Additionally, the complete sets should come with soundtrack cds, I think, but I'm not entirely sure either.Appreciated much.
Yuk! 3D!

I just don't see what others see in Bebop, perhaps its nostalgia factor and one had to be there with it or something or maybe my tastes are not aligned with the target market...but Cowboy Bebop was a type of story most comparable to one of the most odd and janky experiences of 2012; that is to say, Cowboy Bebop was most comparable to Sengoku Collection (possibly worst anime of the year).

If you haven't seen Soredemo yet you're going to absolutely hate the episode with the policeman. He's beast mode Buggy.
They lose focus on the main character by the second episode.
Alright, I'm going to watch it. I was just hoping it wouldn't be focusing on the same few characters all the time.Yeah. There are times, though, when they focus too much on a certain pair of fairly insignificant and uninteresting characters. Biggest complaint with otherwise a very enjoyable show.

I'll just have to enjoy the other parts of the anime.
