I don't know much about about the production of the series but that's usually what happens when you send off part of the show to be drawn/animated by some other company in a country where the wages are much lower.

Actually, a quick glance at ANN reveals that episode 3 was worked on by 'Star Pro', whoever the hell they are. Ah, Wikipedia says they are notorious for their off model work.

Hmm? I'm not taking a pro/anti outsourcing position with relation to animation, just commenting that the image that was posted appeared very off model and was probably the result of outsourcing. Which it was.

If I were to stake a stand with relation to outsourcing animation I'd say that if you have to do it you shouldn't give it to people who are completely incompetent. From the fact that Star Pro appears to have done nothing else I'd say their shoddy efforts really didn't help financially.
