It's hard to really discuss much about this episode without spoilers and I don't feel like doing black bars right now. So I'll just say two things:
- Someone needs to make a US Network TV style teaser ad for this episode with random scenes and big captions on the screen: "ALL. YOUR. QUESTIONS. ANSWERED." and "THE. EPISODE. YOU'VE. BEEN. WAITING. FOR." The voice over should also go "This week's Psycho-pass will have everyone talking. Don't miss it, every Thursday night on FujiTV!"
- Don't skip the ED this week. There's post-credits stuff.

The one good thing MAL does for me anymore, despite their recent romaji obsession, is keep track of what episode I'm on for different shows without much effort on my part.
Gintama 157-158
Beginning of a new arc. Unfortunately, it's a Otsu focussed arc. The saving grace is that she's more of a setup and less of a feature. Still, a lot of the moments with her can be almost painful to watch.
Onto the episodes themselves, they were pretty good. I'm surprised this is getting stretched to a full 8 episode arc. I feel like in the past, this kind of setup would just be 2 episodes at most. I wonder how much humor is to be mined from it? I'm really interested to see. The humor in these episodes is pretty dumb. Like dumber than normal. They've done the making fun of otaku thing in a much smarter way. I'm specifically thinking of the Owee arc. I'm not saying that being dumb is a bad thing, it's just an observation. It's still quite funny. The best moments in particular were Gin's running commentary at just how stupid the whole situation is.
One thing I found interesting is that you can really feel them stretching for time now. They're resorting to a lot of 4th wall breaking commentary and moving out of the story they're telling. I love the 4th wall breaking, so it works out, but you can tell they're running out of material to work with. It's not surprising they had to start taking breaks after this season. I honestly don't know if they could keep this kind of stretching for time.
