You almost make it sound like Max Heart isn't abysmally shitty the entire way through. I'd ask you to tell me more, but I want to be surprised.
Just watch it through me and be satisfied with that. If I can save someone else from experiencing this miserable slog, it won't have been for nothing.

Really fantastic english dub. Fire Emblem gets the worst voice unfortunately, but everyone else is really epic. Seemed like Saiko's (Bakuman) voice for my favorite Ivan Karelin (Origami Cyclone), Sasuke's voice is a surprisingly good voice for Barneby, especially when he goes and talks all about getting revenge and or his past, cant ever not imagine Sasuke. Gaara's voice for Lunatic made me enjoy every moment of screentime.
. Blue Rose has a good singing voice and it did take me awhile to get used to Renji's voice for Kotetsu.
Tiger & Bunny still remains massively exciting for this whole first part and makes me wish Viz would hurry and dub the movie and release it this year. I really want more of this franchise especially if they can do more in universe buff type moments like that good luck time, etc.

Speaking of Utena, my dad just crashed in while I was watching 28. In his words, it was the weirdest mushroom-trip he has ever seen animated, even more than Evangelion.
I hope that means he goes from asking questions to answering them instead.
Oh a family member seeing me watch Utena. I don't think I could handle it. My brother may be ready for the series someday, but probably not now.

Well they got a huge change of internal staff after a certain point ..they started working on splash star early and got to work on the 2nd max heart movie..they did manage to have a coherent chain of operations at some point in the middle of the max heart season .. i'll let you judge if they managed to salvage max heart or not.
2nd max heart movie is pure goodness by the way.. highly recommanded.
I keep telling people to watch "splash star" and to avoid "yes precure" unless you're very bored but nobody listen to me anyway...

I felt like someone asked this before, but what software do you use to make gifs?
It's not that nobody listens, it's just that we're all dirty completionists.
...except I think not a single person currently running the Precure gauntlet has tried Yes 5 yet, so that's partially successful :lol It's still my ultimate goal to convince DTL to watch Yes 5 for Coco x Nuts, though.
VirtualDubMod w/DirectShowSource avisynth plugin and VirtualDub. I can learn ya in the mystic ways if you want.
I'm trying to find better gif software myself, though, because my method doesn't work with hi10p, which is a pain in the ass.

Man, this batch of episodes... it's so weird watching this show in what amounts to chunks at a time, because it doesn't have the natural "breathing" time that you would get if you were watching this on TV. Knowing nothing about the original TV series, some of the revelations here are fairly amazing and more importantly, are actually worked into individual episode arcs without the burden of infodump central that plagues science fiction.
Perhaps the biggest revelation, and although I shouldn't be too surprised given what the Yamato obviously represents, is that

, characters (which is something I assume LOGH does, since apparently it doesn't take any sides in terms of how it tells its story).
And while you're mulling over that series-shattering moment, the 14th episode then confirms the foreshadowing in the first episode and essentially confirms that
, but all in a surrealistic (dare I say, proto-Shaft-ish) yet classic psychological science fiction episode ripped right out of the Star Trek playbook. They really don't make science fiction like this any more and for anyone who cares about the golden age of scifi, that episode in particular was such a lovely throwback to when stories were just stories in their own right.
And hell, all of that happens while building the mythology of the universe and setting up the near term villains an the longer term ending of the series.
Fuck, if it weren't for the shitty anime-isms that they have to introduce into the series because it's 2012/2013 and otaku need moe and tropes in order to satisfy their urges, this might be the most perfect science fiction series that I've seen in at least the last 5-10 years.
April really can't come soon enough, if the teaser at the end of 14 and the new trailer they posted is anything to go by.

Does the Trigun anime cover / spoil any of Maximum? I would reckon not considering their release dates, but better safe than sorry. I've only read the first omnibus / 3 volumes of Maximum, which ends with
the puppeteer falling to his death, Vash revisiting his home and Wolfwood killing the 7 people controlling the giant robot.
Every single time you post an old series you watched, I am surprised that I am not the only one to have watched this long ago.
