Ehhh I haven't seen much of them but I think almost all of it is footage taken from the show. The number of things they redrew is small. And there are gackt songs EVERYWHERE

Ive been waiting so long for this episode and it was such a good start. The next episode will no doubt be glorious as I cant wait to see so many moments of the best Natsu fight in the entire anime.
Episode did have a few issues where you could tell they were just dragging things out as long as possible though and I hated the forced NaLu moment. Lyon was epic for that match with that cool Gray/Lyon bonding encouragement moment there.

Tracing is such a tremendously bad idea when you're dealing with something that has a really savvy audience. You aren't going to be able to slip that kind of thing past them.

Darn I will miss my weekly comedy after next week. Cant believe its already over but at least theres the manga, hopefully it continues to come. Really good episode for Don Valentino and all their friendship moments together with Akiyoshi, as well as his main team and Akiyoshi/Soumei moments.

I thought it was kind of obvious that Akiyoshi was a wolf, at least the initial scene when he was sniffing Don's hair, totally didnt realize we had seen him before because of no eye path

Definitely wasn't anywhere near as bad as I expected judging from the other impressions this week. It's not a powerhouse episode or anything, but it was pretty charming and hell of a girly. Sadly, as a cultural festival episode, it too has succumbed to the tragedy of post-Hyouka anime. Cultural festival episodes will never be the same again. We have seen perfection, and the comparison will always hurt.
Oh well, looks like we're on to the finale arc now. Hopefully it's not stupid or anything. Kinda wish this was a 2-cour show instead, since the characters are pretty likable and the setting is charming. :/

Futari Wa Precure Max Heart 01
I decided that Heartcatch is way too precious to watch and then have to return to lesser shows, so I'm putting the good stuff on the backburner and taking on this show first LIKE A BOSS.
First off, It hasn't started out that badly. Everything has gotten noticeable more cheap looking, like a derpy filter was applied over normal Precure, but it still feels the same. Not sure exactly what is going on yet to resurrect the dark kingdom, but the Zakenna design was pretty neat with all the stoplights in it. the Precure Marble Screw got a noticeable upgrade and the animation looks a bit goofy overall, particularly with Nagisa and Honoka's posing after they transform and in the opening credits. Those awesome Zakenna butler minions are back. I liked them so I'm happy to see that. Overall it wasn't a bad episode all things considered. But I am merely standing on the edge of a precipice apparently, and should soon fall headlong into the abyss. BRING IT ON.

great episode. the empress and shinobu are great to watch and its hilarious how the teachers/readers in that meeting all hated the current master.
i wonder what porky has in mind. komano has become a pretty decent player and a huge step up from creepy tongue dude, plus hes fresh. i guess save him for later rounds while matching up creepy dude against the teams best players. i feel theres a bigger reason than something so obvious.

I haven't read any interviews or anything with relation to this series but do you know if they intended the conclusion to this series to be the definitive end to the entire story or is it the kind of work where they might make an additional series?
