Hopefully they're just waiting for the Japanese BDs to finish releasing.

I'd never thought of it like that.

Hana Yori Dango 1

The series is based on the Japanese shoujo manga "Hana Yori Dango" (Boys Before Flowers) by Kamio Yoko.

Makino Tsukushi is the only poor student at Eitoku Gakuen, the school of the ridiculously rich and privileged that is ruled by Flower 4 or F4, a group of four boys who come from extremely powerful families: Domyoji Tsukasa, the leader and heir of the Domyoji World Finance Group; Hanazawa Rui, the introverted son of a large company; Nishikado Sojiro, a player who is the heir of a tea ceremony school; and Mimasaka Akira, a madam killer with ties to the underground. If a student gets on the F4's bad side, he/she gets a red notice and is bullied and driven out of school.

Makino hopes to pass her days quietly-- without drawing any attention to herself-- but one day, she stands up to Domyoji in defense of her friend. The next day, Makino gets the dreaded red notice. Even though she is harassed, Makino decides to keep going to school because she is a "tough weed". She declares war right back on the F4. Her resolve gets the attention of her crush Hanazawa Rui and oddly enough, rouses romantic feelings in her worst enemy, Domyoji Tsukasa.

Oh shit, Young Matsumoto Jun + Young Oguri Shun + Young Matsuda Shota.
Obviously Hanazawa Rui (by Oguri Shun) is the best guy. That's a pretty cool drama, I like the F4 concept. Kind of disappointed that Domyoji is the main love interest though, Hanazawa is way better than him heh.

The Light of El Cantare
Ah yes, the transgression of leaving 'pervert' untranslated, as if the audience doesn't already know what it means. It's more an attempt to reach out to the nerds that do understand it rather than deception.

Do you actually think I'm genuinely bothered by something like that? Come on.

It's not unreasonable to think that there are some fans who mistakenly think that the word is synonymous with anime pornography, which was my real point.

Speaking of the SNAFU show, I went back to look at TBS's international sales stuff, and it turns out they made some nice international promo flyers in the same style for Tamako Market and Sasami-san in the last couple weeks, even though we're nearing the end of the season:
A pretty liberal interpetation of thirty minutes.

I don't think you're genuinely bothered, but the way you interpreted it just seemed way off to me. C'mon, they're trying to link it back to what it's been known as to internet fans for years now.

The whole fusion and airflight was the best part of the episode, really great start to this concluding arc. If only the whole anime had been on this level of high energy epic action and surprise. Oh well.

Actually I have a question about Steins;Gate:

Ok so in episode 24, Okabe(A) buys the metal upa, leaving Okabe(B) and Mayuri with the green upa. However, when Okabe(A) fakes the death of Kurisu he says "this is definitely the body I saw" referring to the events in episode 1. But in episode 1 Mayuri complains about losing the metal upa. Okabe(A) implies that the body he originally saw was actually the fake, but that's clearly not the case right? The Kurisu in episode 1 was actually dead...

I think he was more saying it looked like the exact same scene.

Mouryou no Hako - 10

And the whole investigation can start over again!

The way the oni-mouryou lecture was presented made it sound like several really poignant things were being said, but I only got that the old guy is essentially a fraud.

Alright, and then another question:

So Okabe in episode 1 jumps to a the Alpha world line. In this world line Daru has no idea who John Titor is, and Okabe finds that John Titor never posted online in this Alpha world line. But then Suzuha in episode 14 talks to Okabe and Kurisu and gives them the divergence meter. She also explains to the two that she is John Titor. Kurisu mentions how she posted responses and gives her @chan name. But how does Alpha world Kurisu know John Titor? I thought he didn't post in the Alpha world line, only in the Beta world line that Okabe was originally from. Am I getting events confused here?

I may need to comb through the episodes with a notepad.

so Gundam 00 is like an ugly car wrecked into a pole?

Gundam 00 is like a disaster, of increasingly terrible proportions. A wreck, a crash, a disaster, a nuclear explosion of the most terrible manner.

Where Gundam AGE is like an epidemic, a horrible creeping sensation which slowly then swiftly infects us all with awful of the highest caliber, Gundam 00 doesn't take its time in sucking and sucking and sucking.

AGE is still worse, but 00 is a different kind of awful.

So far here is my tier of terrible Gundam shows, arranged in order from least to most horrible:

Gundam SEED Destiny
Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory
Gundam 00
Gundam AGE

On the whole, taking into account every Gundam show I have ever or currently am watching it goes thus:

Mobile Fighter G Gundam
Mobile Suit Gundam
Gundam 0080: War in the Pocket

Gundam SEED
Gundam Wing
The 08th MS Team

Gundam SEED Destiny
Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory
Gundam 00
Gundam AGE

You too?!

They're like, my favorite things. Just like characters with split personalities indicated by a two letter shift in their names, terrible Sousuke and Gauron rip-offs, and German futurists with weird ass Greco-Latin first names.

Oh, and though I've said it many a time, with the talented nomenclature at work behind REVIVE REVIVAL the entire second season is bound to be a masterpiece of the utmost thought, character and world building, and the greatest work made in both the Real and Super robot divisions of the Mecha genre.

Truly, Gundam 00 S2 is bound to be a work of art of the most glorious caliber.

I like it.
*thumbsup*

This would be absolutely terrible. I have no faith in the anime team's ability to deliver on something like this, and Hunter x Hunter wouldn't be the same without Togashi's dialogue and his unique methods of storytelling.
There's nothing stopping him from still writing it given he's completely incapable of drawing worth a goddamn nowadays.

I will say, there's a neo-feminist/post-third-wave feminist argument that suggests being a housewife should be allowed to be considered an occupation. Of course, in this case, one wonders if her husband is still supporting her or something.
There's nothing wrong with being a housewife (or househusband) but the whole "animal at home" thing was just too much. Shit was fucked up yo.

Darker than Black 1-2

Good start for a potentially great show. This Hell's Gate and contractor stuff has piqued my curiosity but it seems like I'm just going to learn about it little by little instead of an episode dedicated to info dumps (I hope so anyway). This soundtrack is pretty great too, I'll have to give it a listen after I'm done watching this.

Windy Tales - 10

I love it when the show gets its mystery on. And I also love dream-centered stories.

This show keeps its string of fantastic episodes going.

Humanity Has Declined 6

Good conclusion to the arc. Ohboy was great personality and explorer assistant with the things he wanted to see and his sword and lion shield was funny.

kind of sad revelation and story of the probes. Just entertaining the idea that we sent self aware things off into the cold dark lonely depths of space is just a depressing idea. He was really hurt by it and even p girl feeling it but trying to deny those feelings. Really unforgettable it was.

In the alpha worldlines, they're referring to current posts/topics. Titor has been posting, but only fairly recently so he's not "book-famous", whereas in the beta worldlines he showed up in 2000.

This is conveniently designed by the character designer of Hentai Ouji.

Also that ZR, UNF.

Not nearly high enough. I have standards.

But they are striped, so I guess that's something. I suppose I will be needing to satisfy my carnal desires to see her doing the nasty sometime in the near future. Like sometime in the next 5 minutes.
