Solid first episode. Doesn't have the phenomenal atmosphere that Elfen Lied did, but it's a good enough adaptation of the material.
I like how both this and Elfen Lied have cheery EDs that aren't in line with the tone at all.

Relatively haremy, but it still takes a backseat to the greater conflict. Though the harem aspects are more pronounced than they were in Elfen Lied.

Also Mari Okada is writing this, but I don't know if this makes me more or less excited to watch it. I think I'm just gonna temporarily drop it and wait for impressions of future episodes to see if it turns out to be a trainwreck or if it tells an interesting story.
Also Studio Pablo did some really great backgrounds in this episode, always impressed by their work.
Not sure what to make of this. On one hand, the card game aspect is pretty stupid and silly, and then you have the cute character designs which made this look like a dumb anime to sell a card game. But now that I look more at it and the tone and some of the visuals and backgrounds in the first episode, and there is a strong contrast from what I expected it to be.

The main character's hair in Baby Steps didn't bother me as much as the many loose strands of hair that the leads had in this. Other than that, I liked this a lot.

The more I watched, the more I kept trying to not compare this to Seishun Forget!
But I liked it, it was very nice, the faces, the characters. I liked the subtleness to her condition as they were getting to know each other and I like his resolve to not give up.

Accel World is waaaaaaay better. Ive seen ot multiple times and watching it yet again right now. Some fun characters and much less stupid rampant romantic drama. More focus on action and the conflicts of the game. KYH is much more likeable and the show isnt completely ridiculous.

This is really the only episode of the Twilight Zone that I can remember, mostly because I need glasses to function and this would be my ultimate nightmare. What a simple twist. lol

I think my favourite bit was when they played concentration. If I already didn't know the premise of the show, I would have found that scene to be incredibly clever.

I want to thank everyone for recommending me And Yet The town moves. Really funny anime, with amazing animation and characters. Shaft should do this more often than Harem A, B, C but I suppose thats what the market wants right.

Haru is a but overly whiney. Thats probably my main complaint. Hes like Shinji down to the voice. Otherwise i love the character designs and avatars, story, music, game design...its all well thought out.

But it's still really fun and funny! Yuzuku and Yukari are so dumb sometimes, you just have to love them.

Didnt realize it was just an 11-minute show. Fire kun is good lead character design while his friend Data is a bit lacking, or rather clueless on somethings. Green haired in the opening needs to show up next.
Concept was strange due to the adults not noticing the Oreca EX or maybe just being unable to see them due to not having one?

A show powered by guts was just what I needed this morning. OLM seemed to have given this one the better summoning animation as the spinning with the fire for Hiro was quite intense and exciting. I wish they had done the full battle this episode but eleven minutes isnt much to work with.

The first episode was the first chapter, so I wonder if they'll keep going at that pace. They don't have much room for more than that, because there are 4 volumes out (14 chapters). Couldn't really see a good ending point either, as it's still going.
Based off of Episode Ones that I have watched Even So, The World Is Beautiful followed by Jojo's Bizzare Adventure: Stardust Crusaders and strangely Majin Bone.
Best Naruto movie imo. Great animation, great fights and a decent story.
Naruto movie 3 was also pretty great.

God no I wanted to strangle that kid and his father.
None of them are great but I thought The Road to Ninja was decent and the best of the bunch. It's a bit slow and more on the feels side though. The only major action sequence comes at the end.

Like the art wasn't particularly great and the sound was pretty bad. It's like it was recorded in a shed or a bathroom or something. Particularly the voices. May have just been a Crunchyroll thing, but I expected better.
I also just don't think it showed enough in its first episode to get a grasp on whether it would ever be AotY material. I feel like One Week Friends showed its hand better in that regard, and was much more technically accomplished as well as being fucking adorable.

I think it's something a fan can appreciate more as it was mostly just for them. Only gave it a shot as I have/had an affinity for the era before Naruto & Sasuke wanted to hatefuck each other to death.

I guess it depends on whether you enjoy adorable romances and the like, but from my perspective it's got two interesting main characters, an amnesia plotline that's not a hindrance (which I can say for sure having caught up with the manga) as well as just having a really gorgeous art style.
The music was also really good.
And it's incredibly adorable, which is my type of thing.
I guess that is one thing that did kill it for me, I found the MC too forceful for my liking, of course if he wasn't, there would be no show.

to an extent he is, but I'd say he's more assertive than forceful, at least going forward.
Would encourage you to stick with it if there's any lingering interest.

Right, 50-100MB of RAM usage is nothing on a modern system where RAM is very inexpensive provided your browser isn't leaking memory. CPU time on the other hand is VERY valuable still, and people seem to forget the insane amounts of sorcery that went into making that webm as efficient as it is and the cost of quantising and decoding it afterwards.The latter would at worst crash your browser, the former can overheat your hardware and kill your CPU.
GIFs were never intended for this purpose, they were intended for small graphics to be shared. Think for example a small banner. In that context they are very competitive in terms of efficiency. GIFs are probably one of the better examples of emergent behaviour, where people ended up using it to facilitate a certain culture of sharing not intended by its designers due to a lack of any alternative.
For video yes but they were never intended to compress video!I replaced a 26meg Wolf's Rain gif I uploaded to the booru with a 2.6meg webm of the exact same scene at the same resolution, and it looked way better too. As far as gifs go, size and quality are total shit!
None on that front and it is probably better for me to move on or else this show will become on of my punching bags.
