I really like this show so far. It's seriously just Attack on Titan but in Tokyo, building the barrier, giant ass monsters, only a few people can save humanity an humanity is fucked. Its honestly as generic as it sounds. I mean to really hammer it home the main character is literally Eren. Which is pretty funny because he also happens to voice Subaru in Ro Kyu Bu

and humanity's savior in this world are a bunch of lolis including one who is quite interested in him - and she's voiced by Airi from RKB.

Generally I can't stand him at all and he's in fucking everything. He has this one shitty, grating voice that plagues a lot of the roles he has but thankfully it didn't show up at all in this first episode.

The characters and story are already way more interesting than anything I saw in Titan, first episode did a good job telling its story but leaving some mystery behind. The only worry I have is how much stuff they crammed into the first episode - there were a lot of general plot lines laid down in the first episode so I'm curious to see where each of them go.

I can get behind any show with some nice eccentric hair (and theres a lot of it in this show) and I love it when the girls have nail polish in anime. It's a really simple touch but it really sticks out especially when they do it, especially on toes as well.

One can definitely empathise with all the bitter NPC boys in the class, though. Raku may well be the luckiest bastard who has ever lived. I'm pretty sure I'd want to kill him as well if I was in a class with the likes of Onodera, Chitoge, Tsugumi and Marika and all of them had eyes for no-one but him XD

Well, I haven't read the LNs or anything associated and thought the incest jokes were out of place with everything else. Understandable if ti was a conscious decision to make a VA joke a running gag throughout Mahouka.

Lol dis girl's imagination is brilliant. Imagining this whole romantic story only because he's playing in class. It was nice to see a regular person's reaction to Seki-kun playing in class, though at least regular in the sense that they don't get immersed with Seki-kun in what's going on, but what it might mean. So she's still weird, just a more regular weird.

I loved the "Curse you Seki-kun >.<" scene haha. The show hasn't been laugh out loud hilarious for me outside of the two shogi and robotto kazoku episodes. It was a decent episode though.

The Kawai Complex Guide to Manors and Hostel Behavior Episode 2 – Is It?

Crunchyroll could have chose a different color and font at times, their words ended up blending into the environment quite a bit making it hard to see. Anime makes me chuckle but not really leading the way for comedy or anything this season. Still its entertaining.

Aww, this is way too cute. The characters have changed more than I was expecting in the last two episodes, which is definitely a good thing.

I think my favorite part about Hase is that he isn't so stuck in the "straightfoward protagonist" archetype that he doesn't feel nervous or scared about introducing himself. He doesn't steep in anxiety, but he still has it. Hopefully, as Hase begins to understand more about Fujimiya and how to handle each week, Fujimiya will find ways to make progress as a character as well. We're at the point now where we're still learning more about Fujimiya as a character. It'll be interesting to see how the diary changes function from a way to inform the viewer about Fujimiya's character to a plot device to further change Fujimiya's status quo.

I'm really liking the animation in this anime. Tanaka is already one of my favorite characters, especially with those faces he makes. The main character really hasn't done much for me yet, but I'll give him some time. I can already tell I won't like Kageyama. I was never a fan of loner characters like him.

Lots of scenes in that show threatened to murder my heart. I survived somehow but it was close. The cat with no butthole is still one of the funniest things ever. I need a life.

Yeah I'm really liking Hase. I think it's one of the more relatable nervous characters since he still has guts, it's just stuff that's stressful where he stumbles a bit. Don't we all?

As to character development, I really do hope there's enough manga material. But at the same time I don't know how long this anime is meant for (probably 12-13 episodes) so I hope it has a resolution seeing how the manga is ongoing. I don't think this is the type of manga to get 2 seasons.

So this seems fun. Ene clearly makes the show, with her delicious Asumi Kana voice that makes me think of Sasami-san somehow crossed with Hajime from GatchaCrowds. Actually, considering she's a computer system directing people in real life through a portable device, I guess GatchaCrowds is a fairly appropriate point of comparison. Even if she does it through blackmail rather than rewards =p

The show is basically oozing with style, and by style I mostly mean SO. MUCH. SHAFTINESS. Like, I watched this immediately after Nisekoi and was expecting to die of Shaft overdose or something, but instead I was just struck by how much more Shafttastic this show manages to be. It goes over and above. I like the use of colour - there's something really cool about how the entire

section basically takes place entirely in black, white and red. And that bit at the beginning of the episode with the red outlines shifting in and out of view was fucking gorgeous.

This is the second maid cafe show I've watched, the other being the (shitty) Maid-Sama!, which at the very least this show has to be better than.

Wasn't huge early on with the whole concept of "maiding up the maid cafe" (really, that seemed like a classy place. I'd go there.), but I did think the part where their teacher tracked them down to the cafe was funny. Liked when she was doing that faux-clumsy routine and he was like "How do you confuse coffee with soda? Coffee is brewed in a coffee maker. You did that on purpose, didn't you?", and then giving her the lecture about her absurd behavior and how dangerous soda-related pranks are. The contrast between his stick-in-the-mud attitude and the atmosphere they were trying to create was entertaining.

Not a bad start, feel like I learned more about Lodoss mythos from this ep than the entire OVA series. Still the same sort of standard fantasy fare but I don't mind. It's neat to see Shiris & Orson reintroduced, differing a bit from the OVA with the far more accomplished Parn being the one to fight him down rather than Shiris .

Omake shit cracks me up.

Nobunaga the Fool Episode 14 – The Empress

Start to the new half of this anime was pretty strong. Carolus Magnus with General Charlemagne who has the Regalia of Wind and the Carthago Nova with General Hannibal who has the Regalia of Water offered an exciting battle of sorts.

sure it was one sided and led to lots of lost limbs it was a perfect way to really make things take off this half. I wonder how more intense theyll get with Ranmaru being capture...and then all that betrayal in the post credit moment.

New OP was a bit emotional for some of the scenes, the sad and crying Hide for example. I wonder what its hinting at.

Breakthrough from JAM Project isnt one of their best songs and continues to me to just really not get me excited for their songs. The beginning is all over the place for it. The new ED song is also not as memorable as STEREO DIVE FOUNDATION's Axis

Well I'm not too familiar with SHAFT so I don't really know what this means too much. Madoka was great. Bakemonogatari was good but the franchise kinda lost my interest and stopped somewhere in Monogatari S2, and I didn't like Hidamari Sketch.

I always wanted to complain that I couldn't reorganize my queue in Crunchyroll so if I added a show earlier and added other currently airing shows later, they'd be all over the place. Now I adjusted it so the order of the currently airing stuff is going monday-sunday. Which makes it look so much better in OCD terms.

Hey guys, so I just finished Sword Art Online in one day. Yeah, it's a mixed bag like everyone says it is. Still, watching anything that's as idealistic as SAO was makes you wonder about the possibilities and riles you up emotionally. Poorly written, but made me think about life in general...almost reminded me of 5 Centimeters per Second (I know not everyone is a fan of this).

Kind of surprised such a disappointing anime was able to do that. Really upset that it didn't meet its potential at all.

Anyone want to recommend other anime that has high stakes but with an actual well-written romance and story in general? I think I would gravitate towards that stuff more now that I think about it.

My favorite show so far from what I've watched this season (albeit not a ton). Always love the dorm living shows and the main girl isn't obnoxious and super dependent on the MC like Sakurasou which was the last show of this variety that I unfortunately watched.

Certainly craziest epilogue I've seen. The episode was full of funny moments. There are several mysteries to this episode like how did they end up in the middle of the ocean, how have they survived, what happened to grandpa with the octopus, how can Arte still be so adorable and many more.
