Wirecutter - Switch 2 has "redesigned" joysticks

i guess the number of people who replace the controllers with new ones (instead of warranty), covered all the repair and replacement cost for SOny.
Most people I know just buy a new one. I am comfortable opening a controller and soldering in a new part, but most people aren't that comfortable. A lot of people also don't want to wait the time it takes to schedule a repair, even if it's under warranty. So they're just buy a new one.

God fucking dammit, so it's not real then.
Still 0/10 on good news about this thing.

I swear this has been the most monkey paw reveal of hardware in awhile.

yea im using the edge controller but the modules arent cheap either, i will start cleaning or replace the potentiometer myself from now on.

Nintendo leading the console in terms of adopting hall effect to make their controller more durable.

Lol, hall effect analog cost almost nothing nowadays and yet a pair o joy con is U$ 90, while a dual sense ( that can be used on Switch and probably on Switch 2 ) cost U$ 75.

i dont understand why everyone is impressed by all this overpriced shit.

Wait what, since when can you connect a DualSense to a Switch?

Ok, so with extra hardware and dangly bits. You made it sound like it was actually compatible with it.
if you have a jailbreak Switch it is compatible, just plug and play, but c'mon, 8bitdo dongle is like U$ 15 and you can use every controller on switch, inst just the Dualsense
