Main issue from Switch 1 just left unanswered until someone does a teardown? Why Nintendo?...
The fact console owners are getting fleeced hardcore with 70-80 dollar controllers when 8bit do is literally doing this with 40 dollar controllers is wild to me.
8Bitdo is freaking great. Their Switch controllers will work on Switch 2, right? Because I can do without the C button 99% of the time. The fact console owners are getting fleeced hardcore with 70-80 dollar controllers when 8bit do is literally doing this with 40 dollar controllers is wild to me.
And MS and Sony, even on their $180+ controllers. Is it more expensive than regular? If yes then it won't be inside Switch.
Why?
Because Nintendo.
My money's on that. They're still selling Switches.Hard to say, they didn't mention it either because they don't have hall effect or they didn't want to admit the current switch 1 design was a mistake.
They revised the article to say they actually didn't knowHeisenbergFX4 posted an article saying so
You'd think that'd be something Nintendo would want to advertise given the drift controversy though, so my bet right now is 'No'.
If it had them Nintendo would have bragged about it.Main issue from Switch 1 just left unanswered until someone does a teardown? Why Nintendo?...
Good point, didn't consider that.Nintendo has to be very careful what they say about the sticks, because they're facing class action lawsuits about stick drift. If they outright said "we added hall effect sensors so drift is a thing of the past!" that could potentially be presented in court as an acknowledgement of the scope and severity of the drift problem on the OG Switch.
This is probably also why you see them bragging about how the sticks are "larger" and "quieter" but I don't think they've ever mentioned the reliability or smoothness of the inputs. I'm sure Nintendo's legal team is taking a red pen to any and all press materials that mention the control sticks.
Not sure they would have in the Direct. They didn't mention DLSS. But with all the complaints with the SW1 it would be strange not to have addressed it somehow. If it had them Nintendo would have bragged about it.
No I mean in their specs page where they confirmed VRR, screen type, battery size etc.Not sure they would have in the Direct. They didn't mention DLSS. But with all the complaints with the SW1 it would be strange not to have addressed it somehow.
Ah got it.No I mean in their specs page where they confirmed VRR, screen type, battery size etc.
Debunked.HeisenbergFX4 posted an article saying so
Switch 2 is probably going to go the PS5 route. No third party options unless its a premium licensed one.The fact console owners are getting fleeced hardcore with 70-80 dollar controllers when 8bit do is literally doing this with 40 dollar controllers is wild to me.
