Yesterday there were at least three helicopters in the air at all times. On a normal day in DC there are two-four helicopters alternating all day. That there were no helicopters today was indeed odd.
I saw the infamous Trump flatbed truck drive by around 14th street, with a police escort. I don't know why they had an escort.
My brother's 15.I don't even fucking understand this.
How old is your brother? Because I have a hard time believing that your dad is trying to gaslight him.
Were there no aerial shots of the DC protests?Park Police have helos. Coast Guard does too. I don't actually watch local news, but I'd imagine that news services would have them as well. I'm not chalking this up to anything more than an oddity, but I do know that aerial shots of pink converging in DC is certainly something that Trump wouldn't like.
Something will erupt as soon as the Evil Trump Regime enacts something heinous and has their Republican cronies push it into law.So when is the next march? There have got to be more in the pipeline after the success of this.

Leaving the Tulsa march I passed a loner standing outside the park. He was wearing a Deplorable Lives Matter shirt. I asked him where his girlfriend was.
He was not amused.
I honestly have no idea. I've seen some rooftop shots which have some decent perspective, but I haven't seen what you'd expect a loitering news helicopter would be able to capture.
They may exist; I just haven't seen them.

My dad feels he has to teach us conservative ideals so we won't be swayed by the propaganda of those liberals teaching in school and college. Thankfully, my brother is smarter than that. He was learning about climate change in school, and fired back with "You think you know more than my science teacher? What are your sources and evidence?" when dad went off on a 'it's all a hoax' rant
Still, I have to talk to him more. I think the approach of 'You already think dad doesnt know anything about climate change and evolution, why do you believe him about political issues' might be effective
News helicopters can't do that in DC. There are FAA restrictions.

D.C. A woman holds a sign: "CUNTS AGAINST TRUMP." A cop car pulls up. The cops call her over. They want to take a pic for their wives.

It's important to me. Two years ago, I was totally on my dad's side; the only perspective I had was Fox and what he was telling me about politics. We'd laugh at and mock the ideals of my liberal political history professor while driving home.U an awesome bro~

Two overhead views of the march in Philadelphia I found on twitter:

As you can see in the pictures, the weather was pretty crappy here today (basically misting all day), and a lot of people just went down to the march in DC. Still, ~50k wasn't bad at all!
Someone let me know next time there's gonna be a protest this big in Houston. I wanna hand out bottled water.
inclusion of all genders and races. not just focused on white women as feminist marches often are.It is good to see people interested and actively engaging in politics. I'm not sure what an 'intersectional march' is though.
...doooooood
Well I am and have been for the last 2 minutes
Much obliged
Lmao, I just showed this post to my girl who was there and was like "did you see that guy?"proud to be in lexington ky today with my wife and mom to march.
This is gonna sound weird, but I feel as if "American Spring" may actually become a thing at some point in this generationTrump thought he was home free yesterday. Reality is setting in.
