Thor is a pretty run-of-the-mill fish out of the water story. There are no plotting problems in Thor because the plot in Thor is fucking simple to a fault.

Sure but you've got Odin going into "Odinsleep" right when it's fucking convenient and then waking up again when it's convenient. Everything is just convenient and poorly told.

Meh. The cinematography sucked. OST was boring. Tony Stark was pretty annoyingly unlikable to me. The plot was anger inducingly fucking stupid, too.

Iron Man 1 isn't even that good compared to the Marvel movies I've seen. Captain America is better, Guardians of the Galaxy is better. Hell, fucking Hulk is better. Doctor Strange is much better.

Iron Man 1 is better than Thor. And probably better than its sequels. That's about it.

I thought that Brian Singer mostly hit the right tone in Superman Returns. Too bad it had a shit story.

There were a couple of shots in that movie that I despised - the ones where they tried to portray Superman as a messiah. There's one in particular in the runaway car sequence. It's almost like Snyder took that shot and used it as the basis for the DCEU.

Oh, well.

But the runaway car scene gave us this wonderful homage.

Quips weren't on the dumbass level of some Marvel movies. At least not on par with how they fucking ruined the end of Iron Man 2.
-I said it had problems and yes I think the stakes being too high was one.
-Soundtrack use was far more creative and I liked it more than a lot of movies.
-The villain wasn't the best but I'll take it over any Marvel movie trash (Marvel show is a completely different story and shits all over the best of DC movies especially in this department.

C'mon, the villain(s) in Suicide Squad were lame as fuck. Jeff Bridges didn't have the best role in Iron Man but he was a thousand times better by mere virtue of the fact that he was Jeff Bridges. The SS villains were barely characters. And Loki destroys them.

I can see myself sorta agreeing with this once I give it a rewatch. On paper it It really could have been the blandest since Dark Wolololo, but visuals, swindon and some decent creativity at points gave it some highs. Wonder Woman is an icon in America. She is extremely well known.
