Wow. Unbelievable. Morocco winning against Spain and now Portugal.

Next is England or France. Both years ahead in term of players quality so it might be the end of the road for Morocco, nevertheless they made history reaching semi-final for an African/Arab team.

Agreed, as a Moroccan. We lost so many good players before the world cup due to injury, and most of the active ones, who have given it their all, are exhausted. Both England and France are superior to us technically, in addition to having way more experience playing st this level...but we will do our best to defend our chances, however small they are.
Sad for Ronaldo, but ecstatic for the acomplishements of my national team. What a beautiful day for Africa!

The fighting camels, really? 🙄
How about The Atlas Lions? Well, that's how we have designated the team for decades now...🤷‍♂️

fighting + animal is a common template shrug :D

But yeah there's like the "official nickname" but specific iterations of the teams if they're succesful or notable get their own nickname and this version of the moroccan team will be remembered for years I think.

Imagine Croatia vs Morocco.. 2 teams parking the bus in a world cup final.. Argentina, France/England need to stop this nightmare

That has always been a viable strategy, specially in a world cup where after you inevitable end 0-0 you get your chance with the shootout at the end. I mean france just won the world cup (2018) essentially running a catenaccio...
