outside of selling it to a service, there isn't one. It's a virtual good meaning that any of the mainstream ways, i.e. ebay/paypal etc are susceptible to the same scamming. That doesn't mean you can't sell it on ebay, just saying there's the same risk no matter what, aside from selling it to a gold farming service.Raide said:

No Cataclysm for me tonight.
Ordered 2 Ce's one from amazon, one from play. Play shipped Saturday, Amazon sunday morning. Neither arrived today, may not even arrive tomorrow considering how bad the weather is.
Europe doesn't do early in the week launches. Fuck grr.

I think i'm going to pick this up later in the week. The first couple days after Wrath, the starting zones were filled with people and competing for quests wasn't too fun. I may still cave and reactivate the account and prepurchase Cata before class tonight but i'm not sure. Still have to decide if I want to level my 80 or reroll a goblin priest.

I'm a little worried that my CE on Amazon shows as "Release-Date Delivery" but the status still says "shipping soon".

The fact that it says shipping soon means it's not part of the delayed shipments. You should take that as a good sign that it will come on time. You'd be surprised how quickly they can get orders out when they want toLaserBuddha said:

It would just be weird for a player to go through the plot of Silverpine and see all of the Sylvanas quests(Wrathgate happened already/Lich King is long dead) play out only to enter Northrend hours later and feel completely taken out of the progression by doing all that stuff mentioned as being in the past.

Your only real concern is that sometimes they require a signature for delivery. I've had to run to a UPS distribution center a couple times to get a game that was on Release Date Delivery. But then other times they just leave it on the porch. So I dunno.

You used to be able to do quests out of order, and probably did, making the timeline fucked up.
Now that kind of fucked up is hard-coded in to the game.

Niiiice. I'm going to step over my shame and go to a midnight opening (small gameshop, expect only 10 people so it won't be that bad) because my dad has no problem driving me back and forth (beats going after classes tomorrow), but I better be able to register Cata tonight...
Edit: Ah, new screen, they took the community sites down. But when I try to login on battle.net it just says that the service isn't available :s

I put Worgen Start after Vanilla because of the Scythe, and I put the DK start after BC and vanilla due to the way it involves the creation of the Argent Crusade which didnt exist before.

It's just going to be so damn awkward going to Northrend on that boat without any explanation as to why you are suddenly in the past. It would be a lot of work to merge the timelines, especially for Lich King which is not that old, but given how hardcore the new questing is about putting the player in a new timeline it's a real bummer.

I can't believe it. Tomorrow is holidays almost in all spain so there is already hundreds of idiots ready to fuck up the launch.
Where the guy with the flying path is supposed to be for cata there is around 50 people on mounts so you can't click him. Also general spamming every half a second.
First expansion launch I can enjoy and it's gonna be horrible. I think I will open a new character on french servers or something like that ugh.
