Yup, the setup makes sense. Kara is full of all kinds of shit that we probably don't want the Legion having. We gotta get in there and kick em out.
I wonder if the loot art will be 2016 versions of BC loot. Artifacts means no weapon drops which is kind of sad. It would be a hoot to see a new Decapitator or that badass staff that Curator drops.

Well, it looks like they're continuing to make all of the right steps with Legion overall. Making sure that raid content isn't the only content in between tiers sounds great.
original Kara was 12 bosses, wonder who made the cut. Moroes obviosuly

It will probably be mostly new bosses, all Legion-themed.
Yeah, it seems that's the thing that had to suffer to get everything else in a good spot, which is pretty unfortunate.

11 minute queue times as a tank in lvl 60 content? That's DPS queue time. Everyone should have their invasions done already before the next batch and be queuing so I can level faster damnit.

The basement beasts are probably gone, also he said some hidden events will take place.
I think most of the bosses will be new because the old ones don't make much sense anymore (chess event beeing gone would be amazing)
Opera is confirmed in with multiple bosses just like original Kara.

Not surprising (or unwarranted). Mythic 5-man is sort of the new heroic. Not particularly hard, but you can't random queue for it. It also allows them to make the boss fights more interesting due to assuming at least a slight degree of group cohesion/awareness.
I wasnt counting the basement bosses, I was just going by the dungeon guide, it lists 12 bosses in kara
Would make sense since he said it's almost a 5-man raid. Mythic dungeons have one-week lockouts and are the hardest difficulty aside from CM+.
There's precedent as well, since I think one of the Suramar dungeons, or maybe both, is Mythic-only.

Eh, Cataclysm was pretty bad and they turned things around big time with MoP. This is like a retread of that situation.

3.3 was Icecrown and the three 5-mans right? Yeah that was a good'n.
Though to be fair I think it had no content outside of instances. Trials was a shitty raid, but it also came with all those tourney quests, and that ain't nothing (even if I don't particularly like them.)

I never experienced Kara in it's prime, so I'm really looking forward to going to the new Kara.

I mean, those were awesome of course, but it didn't offer a single solo player thing.
Well, 5.2 on the other hand, I agree. No dungeon, but all the small bosses on the island and other stuff to do. Isle of Thunder to this day is still one of the best zones Blizzard ever implemented. So much stuff. And it had so many interesting solo bosses, even though most of the time they were simply outgeared or zerged.
Cata at least had 3 tiers and the dungeon patch but I do agree that MoP was great, it's the most fun I had with the game.
