Been waiting in line for about half an hour. 200 people left in front.

Kazzak EU.

Good thing I logged on early.

Was planning on leveling my priest to 60 and boosting her but its a bit too late for that so I'll just play my shaman.

I used to play on Kazzak! I was in Apex (Alliance), I was on Daggerspine before that, again in Apex (Alliance) and before that in a little guild called 'Ninja Pirates' with a group of friends.

THRAAALLLLL!!!!!! (I'm not EU, but this doesn't bode well)

Also sorry for derail.

It's not our Draenor since it's a different timeline, they just say alternate universe now to be easier to understand (lol, I know) and to avoid two versions of the same character being present at the same time and/or characters being wiped from existence and all that timey wimey stuff.

Just think of it as another earth timeline where Hitler was killed (or rather still alive) or whatever floats your boat.

Time travel and multiverses are kind of part of the same concept, if you think that there are always an infinite number of timelines that are all slightly different.

I guess I wasn't paying enough attention to Caverns of Time instances. I mistakenly thought we were trying to preserve the integrity of our own timeline being interfered with and not the overall integrity of all the timelines destroying space time or whatever the lore equivalent is.

What I mean is, if Garrosh went to this Draenor but didn't reconnect to ours, that timeline changing would not impact our own directly because they are on different 'lines' so to speak. But it would cause distortion in the overall timeline mega structure?

Your garrison serves as your base of operation in Draenor, and it's from where you get most mainline story quests. You can construct several buildings that provide unique perks, such as providing you with increased mount speed, vehicles and much more. Also, as you level up you aquire followers which you can send on missions that reward gear, gold and more.

Done and done.

Nice thanks!

Do they cost anything?

Nah mate, WoW has never been this good.

the biggest problem I've seen is that Cata raiding was such a cluster fuck of decision flip flopping on blizzard's part (pre-cata to dragon's soul).. it burned out way too many raiders hanging on blizzard finding a system that made most people happy.

blizz actually succeeded with MoP.. but for some the damage had already been done.

so you're right.. wow is the best now that it's ever been. unquestionably. but for some, too little too late.

Wish I could be there for launch. Its either this or family games for the kids for Xmas and im not some heartless ass-doosh, so Im getting lbp3 and lego movie for my daughter. Ill hop on the WoD soon enough, probably early February since Bloodborne just got delayed.

I'll be online when this launches for fun but I don't think I'll be going for any realm firsts or anything. Horde players are repeatedly raiding Alliance cities in the last two hours before launch on my server, so that's kind of fun.

Wanh, dunno if I wanna get this with Dragon Age coming out next week. Both are substantial time sinks and moneys.

I would say get the WoW expansion now to be in on the online excitement and wait a month or so for Dragon Age (will prolly be discounted by then anyway).

Basically this expansion's storyline boils down to we killed off all the characters everyone likes so we'll use the magic of time travel to bring them back! :P

Anyways this is the first WoW expansion I won't be playing at launch and the first CE I haven't preordered. I'll probably swing by bestbuy tomorrow to pick it up as there is always left over CE floating around after launch.

Resubbed last month, pre orderd WoD. Then my pc broke. And i don't have money for a new one. Guess i'll be sitting out on WoD for a while. Which sucks, cause i was pretty hyped!

I got back into this recently with a friend, just having fun leveling. Jumped into some dungeons, I see mute players and bots are still present, cute.

I went and purchased this yesterday, and made a 90 paladin. I haven't played WoW since TBC, and I left with a sour taste in my mouth then.
They've change so much stuff that I have no idea what I'm doing anymore. Don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing really. I'll play it for a month and see if it's worth my time still.

Caverns of Time instances were for the preservation of OUR timeline. However, what this bronze dragon did was send Garrosh back to stop the orcs from becoming fel orcs, and his success creates a separate timeline. I guess in essence we were stopping alternate timelines in the cavern of time instances as well. It's just silly time travel stuff and we shouldn't think about it too much. It's pretty much Back to the Future II bad 1985 stuff.

you know what irks me the most about these launches, there will be people who is going to rush through this and reach 100 in like 5-6 hours and then will start to complain about stuff to do.

There's always some.

They won't even pay attention to the zones, just rush rush rush.

Currently on Bronze Dragonflight/Nordrassil (rather small server):
