Predicts the worst decade for Sony starting 2022
It is my most anticipated game for the last few years. With that said, I am going to say NO! I find it absolutely nuts that gamers are spending $100 on "Deluxe" Editions of games that often include a bunch of useless bullshit.

I have no doubt, if GTA 6 proved a success at $100 the rest of the industry would soon follow. It would set a standard I believe would ultimately break the gaming industry. Just my take but you may have another.

Sets a dangerous precedent, but I would probably pay it.

The amount of time/fun you get out of a game like that is worth it. But again, sets a bad standard for the rest of the industry.

I have not seen the product yet so can't answer.

I have Paid £100 for games in the past though. I think Snes Super Street Fighter 2 turbo on Jap import (could have just been SF2) cost me around that back in the day, worth every penny.

Absolutely not. I'll buy GTA 6 when it's in the bargain bin. Overrated franchise.
It was cool as a pioneer of the open worlds on the PS2, and both IV and V felt very cool on the PS3.

Nowadays, I don't see the appeal. Unless they finally give it the shooting mechanics of Max Payne 3 then it'll probably be just an average game with maybe a cool story and characters.

OP is a Rockstar worker making a market study.

No and I wouldn't even pay $60 for it. Probably will get one someday when there is a big discount which may take years but I can live with that.

Just done with open world crime game.

I voted no but now that I think about it, if this hypothetical scenario were to happen and the masses bought it, it would embolden other developers to try. Personally I think we're overdue a video game market crash and if this would speed it up, I'm all for it. The industry needs to reset it's priorities.

The question is why talk about this game being more expensive than others ? Because it's the biggest production of a generation ? So what; based on GTA V first week sales number is sold 16 millions copies. That's close to a billion dollars so there will profits for the studios involved no sweat

I don't see the relevance of this debate. If you fear losing money with your game, make a better game that people will want to buy , that's it .

Nope. I'm still not used to paying 80€ for new games and so far I didn't break by paying that much day1.

Plus I'm not desperate to play the next GTA as soon as it launches.

No, but I'm unlikely to buy it at all. I might give the Ps6 version a go when they give it away on PS+.

I find Rockstar games incredibly impressive, but I don't enjoy playing them really.
Like I enjoy riding towards a mission giver in RDR2, but the missions themself… nah.

So if they really increase the price by 30% (wtf) I'll pass.
A 10% increase would probably work fine for them, though.

Can you please stop pitching shitty greedy choices to shitty greedy corporation?

Are you guys so obsessed with playing fantasy armchair CEO that you just got severe brainrot?

People keep charting GTAV every year, most likely the most double/triple/quadruple-dipped title of all time. They would pay 100$ for the sequel and so would I.

Not even for 60. The last GTA I bought is IV. I sold it after a few days. Its just not my genre, though I did enjoy Vice City back in the day.

Yes even thoguh I disliked gta 5 a bit.
4 was so much better.
But it's gta. I am not crazy enough to be skipping gta

I'll wait for the PC release, by then everything will be spoiled. I will have seen the entire game memed on Youtube and Lets plays.

I don't care about GTA that much, but more important, I will not let the publishers/studios get that as a green light. Not matter the quality of the game, it's fucking crazy to think in selling games at 100 trumps.

Too many poor people.

You know everyone will and they know it too

Of course and will double dip when it hits PC

Of course, I don't care. In fact, make it 200!

of course. And then double dip on PC later

Yes, of course.

I probably would. I know I'd get enough hours in it that would dwarf other games playtimes.
