What shitty mission design? Just because they don't want to give you freedom to fuck around during missions?

Why is it shitty? It's just what they want to make. If you want to fuck around during scripted missions, there are plenty of other games that let you do that (oh wait, there aren't.)

It's not lacking in anything. It's just what they want to create. It's not a Deus Ex type game, where you can play the game however you want.

And there hasn't been any evidence suggesting as much, but ofcourse your clown ass won't be able to link any of it. Fucking woke bullshit, give me a break. Snowflakes the lot of you. Oh no a black gay man, WOKE!!! Oh no, they aren't making fun of hispanics? WOKE!!! Oh no, they aren't making fun of transgenders?? WOKE!!!
Man, if I'm a clown, that would make you the royal jester. There's clearly no point in continuing to engage with you. Good day sir.

You havent responded to a single one of my questions or statements, so you haven't even tried to 'engage'. Get real.

If you're not on this board to engage in discussion what are you even here for

Just because you think it's shitty mission design, does not make it a fact.

I've always said I'll pay whatever I feel a game is worth to me. So if they released it and it didn't have ass controls then I can imagine that yeah I'd pay that for a new GTA game.

No, i'm not a MP gamer anyway, and the SP won't be worth a 100 quid, as i'm betting the game will be just like GTA V and very online focused as it made so much money and still does.

There might be a special edition as was the case with Rockstar games going back to GTA IV plus many other releases but the base game will not cost that much.

This topic is filled with liars. Would I buy it at that price point? Yes, Rockstar has proven time and time again that they are the best developer in gaming. Every main series GTA game since 3 has been ground breaking. GTA 5 could have been $150 and I still would have been be satisfied with the 60-80 hours I played the game.

Would I be happy about it? No, because it would set a new standard and give other companies permission to again increase the base price of video games to $80.

What is groundbreaking in GTA V? Talking about the game, not sales.

The only stellar thing about GTA is its writing and those writers are gone.

The gameplay and mission design are pretty average.

Tbh, I won't pay full price for anything at current price.

Gta6 will be around for 15 years. I can wait for a sale/a release on the next gen.

Potentially. Certainly not preorder. Elden Ring 2 $99 preorder on day 1 though, so hypothetically it's possible. I don't think it works for every game though. It would require some real tiers. Outside of these two, there are probably 5 or 6 studios who could get away with it. If EA or UbiSlop are looking to peddle wares at that price they're going to need an entirely new philosophy to making games. A truly remarkable new Mass Effect entry? Sure. But that is not as game that EA is capable of making today. Not even close.

That's where it is. I'd pay $99, but less than 10 studios even qualify. It's been a long time since I thought even $50 was worth it for a lot of big publisher stuff.

If they price it at $100, that will give them plenty of opportunities to put it "on sale, this week only" for $90... then $80 ... then $70... Rake it in, baby.

i voted no at $100. But even at $70 i wouldn't buy it. I'm waiting for deal now before buying a game. I don't care of the FOMO.

absolutely not. because you can bet your juicy ass that they will cram as many micro transactions into the new GTA Online as humanly possible, and probably neglect any single player updates or DLC on favour of adding new stuff to buy in GTA Online.

I gonna buy a PS5 Pro just to get a chance to get lost in the newest version of my favorite sandbox Day 1 so yeah... I would. Not many other games I would do this for, or any at this point.

The price under consideration is just too steep for a single title, especially when most games launch at $60-70. Plus, with the way games often get updates or complete editions later, waiting for a sale or bundle makes more sense. Spending $100 on one game limits my budget for other releases. I’d rather be patient than overpay.
