The rock really just needs to stay gone if he can't even be bothered to show up for a few minutes to Wrestlemania to finish / advance a story that he kicked off.
 
The entire "Roast of Wrestlemania" show got leaked, or the audio for it at least.

Listened to it earlier today, it was fucking TERRIBLE.

Miz flubbed so many lines in his segment, Brawn Stroman also bombed, they made some real weird ISIS jokes in reference to Jinder Mahal, which makes no sense cause he's neither a muslim nor middle eastern, he's a fuckin' Canadian for fucks sake.

Terrible show and I won't be surprised if this was a one and done thing.

It's pretty funny that it ends with HHH's music hitting, him coming out, roasting people on stage, telling fans who don't like WrestleMania to fuck off, then playing his music again and him walking off without giving anyone a chance to roast him.

I've been a rock fan since the 90s and absolutely agree with you on this. Rock needs to pick a lane and if he's too busy to commit not interject himself in storylines.
 
Not sure how I feel about aligning Heyman with Seth Rollins. The main reason he was key for Roman was cause Roman took a while to get good mic chops. Seth is already pretty good at the mic so it kinda just leaves Heyman standing smirking in the corner.

I think Shayna Baszler's time in MMA has come and gone and it already passed by the time the UFC introduced its women's division. The sport had evolved beyond her and you could see that during the season of The Ultimate Fighter she was on where she got eliminated early on. That was back in 2013, and MMA has only progressed further since then. I remember watching that episode with a friend of mine who was glad to see her lose because she had been so cocky and then was devastated afterwards. But to me it was kinda sad because she'd been fighting in MMA for so long when there wasn't any money in it and now that there was she couldn't compete at that level anymore. She's still a badass who could wreck the vast majority of people but I don't see her competing in MMA again.

I could see her going back to Stardom. Or maybe she becomes a trainer.

Oh just to correct something in the article. (Which other sites have got wrong.) In these cases the WWE isn't using a non-compete clause. What they're doing, and somebody else can get the exact right phrasing, is pre-release notification period. (They've been notified that they'll be released from their contract either in 30 or 90 days or when it ends.) What this means is in theory if the WWE wants to have them show up on a show they still can. This also means they're still being paid. Finally if any of the wrestlers want to work somewhere else sooner they can negotiate an early release to do that, however if they do that they'll no longer be paid the down side of their contract. (If I remember correctly Tommy Dreamer is one of the people that did this when he got notified by the WWE.)
 
The WWE Women's roster is stacked, but Triple H's booking of the women's division is absolutely terrible.

Jordynne Grace, Giulia, Stephanie Vaquer, Roxanne Perez, Sol Ruca, and Jacy Jayne should all be on SmackDown and/or RAW this year, so I can
understand why some talents need to be released.

That being said...
Dakota Kai's release was shocking.
They're destroying the women's tag division, and Katana Chance and Kayden Carter are one of their best.

Braun Strowman is one of their most over wrestlers and they just.....released him.
Cora Jade was one of their stars being pushed on NXT, and during the TNA/NXT crossover shows...this was shocking as well.

Gallus
- They were stuck in NXT and then moved down to Evolve. Sadly, I didn't see them making it far in WWE.

Gigi Dolin
- It was hard to stand on her own after what happened with Toxic Attraction.

Eddy Thorpe
- They tried pushing him into the main event NXT scene, but he just wasn't the guy.

Oro Mensah, Riley Osborne, Javier Bernal
- Not surprising

Shayna Baszler
- She was never the same when she made the main roster. She couldn't get over.


Backstage morale has to suck. This is starting to feel like Vince is back. lol
