WWE Money In the Bank 2016 |OT| It's full of shredded newspaper

Angry Grimace

Two cannibals are eating a clown. One turns to the other and says "does something taste funny to you?"
They called this year's WrestleMania the biggest and greatest of all-time despite half the roster being injured and their decision to hastily retcon the results of almost every match stipulation the very next night. Simply put... they're overselling the show by lying so they can get people to sign up for the Network. And, truth be told, if someone lacks historical perspective, they might actually think this is the "greatest Money in the Bank ever". Not all of us were watching in 2011.

I mean, yeah, Sheamus won the briefcase at the last one, so from that perspective...

If Dean manages to win the ladder match I hope he just teases cashing it in tonight. Hold on to it. Let Seth win clean (lol, but Roman needs it), then when Seth and Roman do a contract signing for the rematch, that's when Dean comes out and cashes in. Then everyone will say, "Dean, why wouldn't you just wait until Seth is vulnerable after a match?" And Dean will come back and say "maybe that's because I'm insane enough to believe I can beat both Seth and Roman together, yadda yadda yadda." Shield Triple Threat match at Summer Slam.

If Cena beats AJ with a five knuckle shuffle, I'm done.
Five knuckle shuffles don't take out many of Cena's burial candidates. Usually that's a spot they handily counter.

I'm thinking AJ gets his token win tonight (before losing 2-3 in a row) and I just pray that it's as clean as the Owens win last year at Elimination Chamber and won't come courtesy of Bullet Club / Finn Balor shenanigans (although I strongly suspect that it will).

Wildcard berths that can't beat teams without a winning record should have homefield advantage
Anybody have the current betting odds? Those generally get the winners right.

I don't know if I will be able to contain my salt if Owens doesn't win the briefcase. Shield triple threat should happen anyway and doesn't really benefit from the briefcase being involved.

You're right... but Vince doesn't care what you think.

Yeah, I am pretty sure Ambrose is winning it. I don't recall Owens ever going over Ambrose other than when he got the belt by pinning Tyler Breeze. I don't even dislike Ambrose (holy shit would him doing 20 minute opening promos be bad though), but Owens walking around with the contract would be way too entertaining.

Am I the only one confused about how betting on wrestling isn't the most crooked shit in the world?
In the era of for-profit prisons, golden parachutes for CEOs that suck at their jobs, bailing out banks so they can swindle their customers by repeating the exact same practices dressed up in different ribbon and the NRA buying unlimited political favor, betting on wrestling is simply small potatoes.

today was BOGO at Raising Canes and I have somehow left 4 pieces of juicy chicken ready to eat when I am halfway drunk with MITB on my PC and Game 7 on my TV. I am fucking HYPED.

Either Natalya turns heel (to make it like the fourth time in a year Becky has been betrayed) or Sasha interferes after the match to set up her and Charlotte's feud. I can see Sasha losing at Battlegrounds, but then winning at Summerslam since SS is the clear end of Charlotte's reign.

Ambrose is likely winning, but if he does win he's either failing to cash in or getting a short run with the belt that would end by Summerslam if he doesn't use it at that actual PPV. I would prefer Owens to win because I don't really care for the idea of a Shield triple-threat that much.

AJ wins tonight, he and Cena fight at Battlegrounds, Cena wins to set up the final match of three at Summerslam. Cena then of course wins that match.

So is Cena and Styles gonna go on the second last match, or will some unfortunate match like the Rusev and Titus one or the tag-team match have to go on after it to give the crowd a chance to get their energy back?

Can't wait to see Seth in action!

I started watching right after his injury. I only saw him in an episode of that Corporate Kane storyline and it was HILARIOUS.

Here's a thought & I'm not sure if it's been answered yet. If WWE does go ahead with 2 world champions following the brand split; I assume the MITB winner can cash in on either champion, correct? I think that was the case for the match before they did brand specific ladder matches towards the end of the split. Could be an interesting twist if the winner is drafted to Raw & cashes in on the SD champion.

With the upcoming split, you have to wonder how many feuds will be wrapping up quicker than normal without the draft feeling obvious by every guy going to the brand as their current rival.

They'll likely get around that by some feuds wrapping up post-draft at WWE Battleground.
We're still going to see RAW and Smackdown talents wrestling one another in their proverbial feud blowoff matches on that card.

Surprised Owens has a good amount of fans, I personally hate him. :lol
You're supposed to hate him. That's the emotion a good heel is supposed to evoke. Ditto for The Miz.

Really hope Dean doesn't win the briefcase tonight. I just want people to shut up about The Shield 3-Way. Dean was hot 2 months ago and has since had a lukewarm feud with Jericho, Seth is a heel when he should be face and Roman... is Roman. They're all literally in the worst position they've ever been in since the stable broke up.

OWENS IS NOW.

LiQuid!

I proudly and openly admit to wishing death upon the mothers of people I don't like
This is the best wwe ppv card of the year. There's no way this doesn't disappoint.

Dean is going out of this with the briefcase right? AJ beats Cena (and then looses four consecutive PPVs), and Romans look stronger than ever when beating Rollins and an incashing Ambrose. Amirite?

Earlier today, oddsmakers had Roman Reigns at a -1500 favorite to win the WWE World Title match at WWE Money in the Bank tonight.

Moments ago, however, SkyBet.com released updated odds for the event, and it appears the smart money might be in on the bout as Seth Rollins is now a 1/4 favorite to win the title tonight and Roman Reigns is an underdog.

Yeah buddy.

A friend of mine has an interesting theory:

Ambrose wins the briefcase, Rollins beats Reigns but Ambrose cashes in and gets the title. All three Shield members champions in one night
