You could say that was deliberate!KuwabaraTheMan said:The scene with Hisako's parents felt a bit stilted...

I'm curious: do you think Storm's "weakness" is just bad writing (inconsistent with ep1, done for lame dramatic effect), or do you think something's up with her since they landed in Japan? When they first meet with Hisako's parents, she seems to be sweating too. Is she unwell?
Considering that it effected her on more than one occasion I'd have to assume it's actually deliberate. I imagine the cause was the bad in-flight food you get on the Blackbird.duckroll said:So now that more people have seen ep2. zazrx said:This is damn good so far! One quick question:
Have the mutants always been like this, specifically Storm, where they get tired or fatigued after using their powers? Kind of a bummer when Storm is all fucking boss and then shes tired and out of breath...
I guess that makes sense since she seems to be the most powerful one of the group.Dram said:Either Storm is being affected by U-Men somehow or it's a way for the writers to keep her from using her powers too much, and overshadowing the other characters.
Jexhius said:As duckroll had previously reported, the second episode was also good. I can't quite believe I'm writing that.
They used surprisingly low amount of CG as well during the various action sequences. Amazing. It's like I'm watching an action show from the pre-2000's (that had a budget).
Also, Emo Cyclops is the best Cyclops.

I wouldn't say it's bad writing yet.duckroll said:So now that more people have seen ep2. My heart is warmed. At least they'll be an animation budget this time.duckroll said:Ep5 - Power [Unity]

Storyboard: Yoshiaki Kawajiri
Animation Director: Ai Yokoyama
What are you talking about, X-men Evolution was on for more then one season.WanderingWind said:They had one! It lasted exactly one season.
I actually though episode 2 was even more pan and tilt heavy then this once, although this one did cut away to the scenery quite a bit. Not that it mattered as it was mainly talking.duckroll said:Episode 3 has noticeably lower production values. Thankfully this is not in the form of bad art (well there are some slightly odd Emma faces) but rather in the form of cost saving measures. More pans, more camera angles at non-talking characters, etc.
