Looks incredible

That looks a lot better IMO.

Is it so much to ask that I just get Cable on the big screen in some shape or form? I was giddy when they teased Apoc but then I realized it was just going to be more of the same in terms of cast members.

Went from Wolverine and the X-Men to Mystique and the Boys ft. X-Men

Yep

"Hey, jennifer lawrence is famous now, so lets make all xmen movies about mystique because of that"

Its impressive that first class and dofp still got to be great movies even with this limitation, but i fear apocalypse may be the one to fail

Apparently this is the film synopsis:

Following the critically acclaimed global smash hit X-Men: Days of Future Past, director Bryan Singer returns with X-Men: Apocalypse, opening in theaters everywhere May 27, 2016. Since the dawn of civilization, he was worshipped as a god. Apocalypse, the first and most powerful mutant from Marvel's X-Men universe, amassed the powers of many other mutants, becoming immortal and invincible. Upon awakening after thousands of years, he is disillusioned with the world as he finds it and recruits a team of powerful mutants, including a disheartened Magneto (Michael Fassbender), to cleanse mankind and create a new world order, over which he will reign. As the fate of the Earth hangs in the balance, Raven (Jennifer Lawrence) with the help of Professor X (James McAvoy) must lead a team of young X-Men to stop their greatest nemesis and save mankind from complete destruction.

Mystique leading the X-Men with the help of Professor X? Shouldn't it at least be Professor X leading the X-Men with the help of Mystique? :/

Professor X is in a god damn wheel chair, what did you expect? Also Mystique is definitely being killed off.

They lucked out by getting a box office draw under contract before she exploded in popularity and now they are intent to milk that for all it's worth.

Bryan Singer Teases a Longer Runtime for X-Men: Apocalypse
“The cut’s a little long right now, but I think it’s going to be a longer X-Men movie. The X-Men movies I usually I keep under two hours, but this one I may actually let be a longer movie because it’s sort of a wrap-up of six movies. It’s kind of a wrap up of X-Men 1, 2, 3, First Class, Days of Future Past, and there’s even an homage at the end, a scene. Its going to get spoiled because they decided to use it in the trailer which comes out in like six months, but it’s a really cool trailer. But it’s kind of a wrap up of six movies. So, it might run a little bit long.”

Singer talks runtime, trailer spoilers (take heed Sculli!), Fassbender, and Apocalypse wrapping up six movies:

"It cuts a little long right now," said Singer of the status of X-Men: Apocalypse at the San Pedro International Film Festival, where he was discussing The Usual Suspect's 20th anniversary. "I think it's gonna be a longer X-Men movie. The X-Men movies, I usually I keep under two hours, but this one I may actually let be a longer movie because it's sort of a wrap-up of six movies. There's even an homage at the end. There's a scene - it's gonna get spoiled because that decided to use it in the trailer which comes out, like six months, but it's a really cool trailer - but the [homage] is kind of a wrap up of six movies. So, it might run a little bit long, but it's not boring."

Despite having a longer run-time, Bryan Singer reassured that X-Men: Apocalypse certainly won't be boring. "There's new characters, young characters, rekindled romances like with [Charles] Xavier and Moira MacTaggert played by Rose Byrne who is amazing," he said, before teasing a moment during filming that left him in tears. "Michael Fassbender did something so wonderful in this movie... We're at the end of the scene, and he asked me not to call cut and when the scene was over, he continued and did something that made me cry in the tent; I've never done that before. The head of my company grabbed a Kleenex. Simon Kinberg, the writer who has no emotions at all, actually became emotional. It was so beautiful, I've never seen an actor do this for me and [Fassbender] just took the scene to a whole 'nother level. It's a heartbreaking scene, not a typical comic book movie scene at all, so let's hope it makes the cut. But after he did it, I went up to him, hugged him and said 'Thank you, Michael, for that gift. Now I need you to do it again.' And he did it, and [frick]ing rocked it again... with full emotion."

Singer continued offering praise for Michael Fassbender as well as two other Apcalypse actors. "This guy's amazing, he can go from the most emotionally devastating moment to breakdancing to 'Blurred Lines' in between takes. He, James McAvoy, and my villain Oscar Issac are among the three greatest living actors in cinema, in their age category by far. They will not be lauded, or rewarded, because they're in an X-Men movie and comic book movies just don't get that kind of shit. But they deliver some extraordinary performances particularly in X-Men: Apocalypse. The movie is very emotional. I love the pathos of the characters and their relationships"

I love Mystique so I'm good with that.

I don't understand. Why are they calling her Raven? Didn't she drop that lame ass name? And I don't think I like the idea of Mystique working with beta X. One of my favourite things about DoFP was how she was like a third faction separate from Magneto and X. Obviously, we know she leans Magneto (can't blame her) but I would have liked to see getting shit done on her own for another movie.

Also that description of Apocalypse has me so hyped. I don't read the comics so the idea of having the world's first mutant in this movie is something that I'd never thought of. I can't wait to see the trailer when I go to watch Civil War.
Is Wolverine gonna be in this one?

Yeah.

Yeah.
You never watched the animated series? I haven't read a single X-Men comic either, but in his arc they stated he's the first mutant.

Omg that interview got me hyped. aside from tdK trilogy, dofp was like the first comic movie in a while to actually deliver a pretty good dramatic performance. It was very melodramatic which I wish the genre went for more

So hyped for this, truly is sounding like the end of the xgoat universe from singer and co

Fassbender, isaac and McAvoy gonna kill it

And I'm pretty hyped for that homage scene, the ending with wolverine in the mansion in the last was the best kind of pandering fan service imo

http://collider.com/x-men-apocalypse-movie-reshoots-wolverine/

X-Men: Apocalypse wrapped filming back in August, but now the blockbuster is headed for some reshoots. ComicBook reports that reshoots will happen back in January, which isn’t really a big deal. Reshoots are standard for any major blockbuster production, and unless they’re extensive, they’re factored into the budget and schedule.

What makes these reshoots interesting is a report from Le Journal de Montréal that says “it seems that Hugh Jackman will be on hand” for the reshoots. The extent of Jackman’s involvement in Apocalypse has always been a little unclear.

Need that Wolverine starpower

Which is weird, because one of the reasons why I like DoFP is because it features less Wolverine.

I mean in the movie universe he pretty much is the protagonist. The first movie is almost exclusively from his point of view and even in Days of Future Past he serves as the 'audience character'. X2, which features more teamwork, still relies on Wolverine for a great deal of the sub plots and character drama.

Fuck Logan, give me Cable.

Fuck FOX for totally ignoring the cast they could have for these movies.

I'm genuinely baffled at the fact that Cable isn't in it. Apocalypse is such a huge part of Cables history that its more confusing that hes not in it. It would have been a great way to lead into an X-force film. We've already had Warpath and Sunspot.

It's not that suprising, considering how they handled the previous movies.

Singer basically makes the movie he wants to make, and then adds in the X-men characters that best sync up with his storyline. that the producers want in to be in the film.

Nightcrawler is a blue MJ.

CDn8EOGWIAAtb0h.jpg

Nightcrawler in MJ's Thriller jacket. I'm sorry, but this film looks Mortal Kombat: Annihilation bad. I'll get this when it's released on blu-ray. Mainly because I know Sophie Turner will do an amazing job.....not enough to save this film. Not to mention...where is Cable? How can they do this film ANY justice without Cable? or Strife?

was it this one?

That's an MAJOR improvement from earlier photos!
