What if they can have a deal where Wolverine and one of the FF can crossover into the Avengers? Wouldn't this kind of thing make that easier without giving up individual movie rights?
 
The X-Men don't need to be in the MCU. No need to water things down by trying to incorporate too many franchises, and the X-Men have mostly done their own thing in the Marvel Universe until recently.

I rather see the Fantastic Four return to Marvel. Fox has done nothing with that franchise other than ruin it.

honestly marvel should've always had rights to wolverine, yes he was/ is an xman but he wasnt created one. He started on alpha flight and solo in the hulk comic. He's not like cyclops or beast. I guess marvel lumped him in because AS an xmen he became the most popular one and headlined the book in popularity he had to be part of the deal. Fox got the right to mutants too , but I assume they didnt make FOX pay for wolvy separately considering their position when they signed away those licenses*broke*.

He didn't manage to kill him. That was a critical beatdown from what I remember. Once Nate got ahold of his abilities, it was pretty much game over.

I guess, but i thought apoc or his ancestors were from the outskirts of the egyptian empire or whatever , no mutation and he probably would be black sounds like he was found by nomads that roamed between Egypt and Cushite/Meroe kingdoms..

You're right. The only storyline that warrants an epic crossover would be the Infinity War.

can they assemble the marvel heroes before thanos arrives on earth?!?

I didn't read when Beast was an Avenger, but I enjoyed Wolverine as a New/Mighty Avenger.

I mainly want to watch a scene with Samuel L. Jackson Fury and Patrick Stewart Xavier trying to outwit each other. Maybe Kelsey Grammer Beast works for SHIELD.

Tony Stark, Bruce Banner, Reed Richards, Hank Pym, Hank McCoy. Look at all that brain power in one room.
 
Guardians of the Galaxy, Avengers, Flash Series, Netflix Marvel Knights, Thanos, Days of the Future Past and now Apocalypse. I think i'm going to weep, my inner child is going to explode.

All I need is a trailer with creepy dark voice over and shadow then a "SHINK" and metallic wings and I would flip my ever loving shit.

It took a while but my childhood superhero dreams are finally coming true.
 
The dialogue in the X-Men 90s show was so goofy and wacky for everyone, along with the hammy voice acting by the whole cast, but somehow it all came together perfectly to make Apocalypse a super memorable and awesomely cheesy villain. Has he ever been better than he was in that cartoon, even in the comics?
 
Fox beating Marvel to the big bad, Apocalypse before Thanos. With this and the X-Force movie in the same year, they have to have Cable in this film. Like others said, give us Sinister!!

i wonder how powerful those guys will be in the films apocalypse and sinister. The xmen are kinda gimpy in the films.....real deal apoc would kill them in seconds. They better bring scott and jean back somehow...we all forgot about X3 anyway!
 
Wolverine and the X-Men spoilers:
The entire first season was DOFP without blatantly saying it. Professor X was in a coma during the present timeline and could communicate to Wolverine but Professor X was also in the future fighting Master Mold because Magneto was going ape shit killing people with Sentinels in the present time line.

Wolverine was magically in the present and the future.

After Master Mold was blown up, Professor X said the future had changed but now a mutant was the most popular figure in that future timeline. Cut to Apocalypse joined by Sinister and one eye Cyclops standing beside him as people were chanting his name.

That whole story sounds what DOFP could be leading to. There was no second season tho :\

but it's on Netflix if you're curious.

If Xavier somehow managed to reappear in an identical body...

Just say the Phoenix resurrected Scott and everyone that was killed, including Jean, and be done with it.

He was already nuts and feeling alone in X3. Put in some brainwashing and you got a heel Cyclops.

Cyclops played a huge role in AoA. He needs to be there. Hell...his return could be the teaser during the credits. Some random X-Men gets optic blasted to ash.

they planted the seeds for Cyclops to go bat shit crazy since Wolverine killed Jean in X3.
 
Man, if they didn't announce/leak this the stinger in Days of Future Past would have been so epic.....more so than Thanos at the end of Avengers
 
I'm not sure how Apocalypse would fit into the X-Men film universe unless it was a shitty watered down Ultimate version.

5000 old Egyptian mutants with alien technology doesn't really fit what they've done so far.

Who knows though, maybe DOFP will just go nuts.
 
"Apocalypse is eternal! Apocalypse is indestructable!" Apocalypse is the most quotable villain of all time.
 
Pretty disappointing that we can't just have another X-Men first class movie without mucking things up in some huge event like AoA.
 
They already have a release date for a movie that is a follow up to a movie that isn't even done yet? That doesn't worry anyone else?

Not really. It's just annoying that they spoiled the direction they're going in with the follow-up before the first film is even out.
 
So ... it's 3 years they have in between films to get something out there and hold onto the rights correct?

I hate to wish for failure but ... yah this is a really easy storyline to fuck sideways.

And as far as some crazy brotherhood/mutant massacre/AoA plotline stuff is concerned... gimme DAT sabertooth that isn't fucking ridiculous... give me -
