Singer did a pretty awful job in DoFP, I have very little hope for the franchise moving forward.

1,2 and Origins are the only movies I'd ever recommend to someone who was already interested in the series.

This might be the most bizarre thing I've ever read here.

Dude, Origins was a mediocre film. And truth be told, I hated it even more than X3 and that is saying a lot. Meanwhile DoFP was an outstanding movie. I completely disagree with you.

lol good one
You're joking right?

Damn I can't wait for this movie...X-men 2 and DoFP are my top comic book movies.

Really enjoyed DOFP. But one thing that bothers me is that the whole storyline is just so (without going into to spoilers) inconsistent towards the previous movies. I watched all the earlier movies, including the Wolverine spinoffs, in quick succession, which might not have been the best thing to do. Reason was that during DOFP I often was wondering "how is this possible" or "wait, that doesn't make sense" and it distracted me from the movie at times. Never read any comics either.

Origins isn't a mediocre film by any measure, it's a steaming pile of shit. Not even in context of the other x-men movies, it's a completely incompetent, incoherent mess of filmmaking.

X-men continuity is a cluster fuck and has been since Origins, it's best to look at it objectively without little details from the other movies.

Yeah, if continuity is a big thing for you, then this franchise won't be your cup of tea lol.

Some of the movies are still pretty dope though. It's not like comic books aren't already plagued with continuity errors anyway.

I've been reading the comics since the 90s so I'm used to giant continuity errors anyways, I have no issues with them in the films. I

Which is why frequent reboots are so stupid. The mass audiences that push these movies to the 750 million - 1 billion realm doesn't give a shit about minor plot inconsistencies. Look at Transformers 2 and 3, there are blatant retcons all over the place but there are also giant robots having swordfights riding dinosaurs, so then everyone lines up to see Transformers 4.

ORIGINS !? LMFAOOOO
the most inaccurate, broken, horrible X-Men movie ever made.

I don't see how anyone can consider DOFP awful and 1 and 2 not. I guess I'm in the minority thinking about all of them being bad

I'm getting tired of seeing Wolverine get his ass kicked everytime he fights another mutant.

Either he has to double team to take someone out or get lucky. How the hell can he spout a line like "I'm the best at what I do, but what I do isn't nice", when he barely survives an encounter, and how he ends up winning/killing is so lame.

Am i the only one who thought DoFP was good.. not great?
Kinda overrated overall..

I agree with you. For what its worth I liked it, but its got that same issue I have with all his X-Men movies, they feel extremely small and its entirely Singer's style that causes it. The scope and sets all feel tiny no matter how big its actually supposed to be. Just my main complaint anyways and why I'm apprehensive about a movie(s) featuring the big xmen bad guy.

After rewatching DpFP, I dont think its as good as I though in the theatre viewing.

As I left the theatre, I was like oh shit, 9.8/10.

Now, I think its more of a 8.5

I don't think he's ever actually said that line in the movies...

also, comics Wolverine gets literally slaughtered all the time, so.
