However, expectation across retail is that the final RRP for the machine will fall well below the £299 mark, with most predicting £250 or below...

Yeah I agree. They cant be that stupid to make the same mistake twice. I'm expecting 349/£249.Elios83 said:430 is way too much,it's like the first Xbox in Europe which bombed hard in the first retail month.
I expect a 350 price for Xbox360 in Europe.
Nah... 250 dollars for Revolution is far too close to 300 dollars for X360. Rev should be 200 dollars.Kleegamefan said:This is the correct answer..
You say that like it wouldn't be a total ripoff (~$450 USD). I guess its not too bad though, I am not looking forward to an $700 AUD (~$540 USD) X360/PS3SHOCKIE said:If 360 is £249 at lauch i might buy it at that price.

yeah. Better sell it at correct price right from the start, not dropping the price quickly and then sending expensive "we are sorry" gift packages like the last time. :lol Xbox1 went from ~500 euros to ~330-350e in one month.Deg said:It should be cheap not more than $199. Over that and they will be pushing it given what they are offering. It would be nice if they threw in a game or two.
I wouldnt call it a bomb it just didnt launch properly. Over pricing it wouldnt be wise only PS2 sold well at that price.
The Xbox cost £300,i waited nine months paid £170.Striek said:You say that like it wouldn't be a total ripoff (~$450 USD). I guess its not too bad though, I am not looking forward to an $700 AUD (~$540 USD) X360/PS3![]()
I dunno, I think the added functionality over GameCube (DVD playback, WiFi internet, 512MB Flash, SD support, unique controller/interface) will warrant a slight premium over their last pricing model. Similar to DS over GBA.Ruzbeh said:Nah... 250 dollars for Revolution is far too close to 300 dollars for X360. Rev should be 200 dollars.
