Not saying there's no problem with Xbox One, but this really is probably due to the marketing deal between 2K and Sony.
2K14 wasn't shown on 360 prior to release either.

There could be various reasons as to why -- automatically jumping to conclusions isn't wise.

I think people just mean cheaper, easier to dev on and better multiplats. I doubt anyone is purposely trying to slight the PS2, it's just that this seems like a straight reversal to the Gen that we're still in.

In the couple months I've been on this forum I've gone from being relatively excited to upgrade to an XB1 to being completely deflated and uninterested in keeping either of my next gen pre-orders anymore.

Well obviously Sony would not have paid Ubisoft, Activision, 2K and EA MAYBE they would get a deal with one publisher but not all four lol.

Yeah thats embarrassing that CoD was shown only on PS4. I'm a big Xbox fan but at this point in time things aren't looking to good. IMO the only thing Microsoft can do at this point is have a little get together with press and show off all the X1 games before launch to put people's minds at ease cause who in their right mind is going to preorder a game that hasn't even been shown publicly.

It's more of a throwback to the fifth generation. Xbox One is the Saturn, PS4 is the PS1, and the Wii U is the N64. Even E3 1995 and E3 2013 were similar.
So 3 big publisher skipping Xbone versions in the pre-release press presentations is not a hard enough clue?
There is definitely a marketing deal going on with Sony and 2K, but this is a closed press event, the marketing thing doesn't really apply.

Definitive version over all. Unfortunately we dont know the extent of the differences because even with the system launching in less than a month no one has seen the xbox version.
I'm not the one to assess GAF insiders, but I can say that I take every famousmortimer post as a FACT

I was a kid when the PS3 came out so I can't say with 100% certainty, but it certainly seems like the XB1 is having an even worse launch than Sony did in 2006.

The thing is usually these type of deals come with not mentioning the rival console at all even in adverts.

So, are you saying we should never discuss differences in multiplatform titles this upcoming generation? Because that's not how things work around here. Just like PS3 constantly took its lumps for having worse ports of multiplatform games, this forum will provide plenty of thread-based lumps to XBO.
