Xbox inviting Xbox Members to test out the March Update (don't beg for invites)

Didn't get anything, but I won't be home for a week, so I guess I'll just sit this one out. I'd really like this update to be more than just the Friends/Party system overhaul. There are still tons of stuff to be fixed.
 
Anyone else feel like their voice commands don't work as well since the Feb update? I've had an issue where the "Yes" command after "Xbox Turn Off" isn't working no matter what I do. It's infinitely frustrating.

seen a few people post that if you're having trouble with anything post-patch, do a hard reset (holding down the power button for ~6 seconds), and for whatever reason, it recalibrates or something and should be fine.

Guess I'll try that. I've had the black screen with audio a few times and hard reset and that's worked. Hopefully it will do the trick with this issue, too. Just a huge bummer that a patch that was supposed to improve the experience ended up making it significantly worse. Hoping these issues get addressed in the next update.

I had my Kinect completely stop working out of the blue with a constant "Kinect is unplugged" message and my NAT suddenly setting itself to Strict. A factory reset fixed it all which wasnt as scary as I initially thought. Youd have to re-download your games but all of your saves are in the cloud and sync up at first boot of the game. Its pretty cool.

Yikes, come to think of it, I had that same issue once following the update, too. Kinect unplugged entirely and couldn't be found. I just did a hard reset and that fixed it, though.

I don't think the update is out yet, only the registration. Original post says update will be out next week

Beginning today, Xbox is inviting select Xbox Live members to preview new features coming to Xbox One in a March system update and future system updates as they become available, asking them to provide valuable feedback before the updates are implemented worldwide. Selected participants will receive an Xbox Live message with a token to register. The next system update will begin rolling out next week to those who will preview the new features..

Mines ok, had the blackout issue though, but just did a hard reset and that solved that

I had this issue...I thought i was losing my mind. This is something that has always worked perfectly and I say "xbox turn off" and then yes...and nothing...i am literally screaming at my xbox...it happened over and over again. Hard reset fixes it

Voice commands just quit working for me entirely and the hard reset worked though its less accurate for me since the update still. Recalibrated and everything.

THIS. This happens everytime I turn the console on. What gives? Really hope they fix that issue.
 
I got a message/invite today and I didn't even have to post my gamertag in this thread or any other like some crack addicted junkie.
 
I really like how the users will have access to a private forum to post thoughts. Hopefully, people will voice their opinion for integrated friends/party system as it is on the 360 guide button and not a separate app and they'll listen.
 
Oh, wow. The privilege to work QA for a large company AND not get paid for it? At the same time probably costing someone their job or another potential QA applicant not to be hired? What a deal! Where do I sign?

Touch and hold the power sensor on the console itself for at least 10 seconds. Clears the cache.

I was disappointed I wasn't invited, I've avoided playing multiplats on Xbox One because IMO the overall UI is a mess. I'm excited to see if it's fixed. I purchased BF4 + premium on Xbox One and then again (both) on PS4.

For what it's worth, I think the issues with the Feb update are rare. I haven't had any that I've noticed

This is happening to me as well. It is strange because all the other voice commands seem to be working better for me. I had done the hard reset, but I guess I will try again.
 
So i got the code and downloaded the app.. but its just stuck on "loading, please wait"...

Btw im from canada so its not US only. :)

Edit...

Well it worked after my post.. so now gotta wait 48hrs :)
 
Just had a message now. I put the code in to get the registration. It downloaded. Ive opened but it has been saying "Loading, please wait.." For 5 mins now. Not sure if it is broken

Anyone else have similar issues?

Scratch that... Quit app and reopened and it loaded instantly (nice one MS)
