Xbox is planning to offer at least 5 new games across the next year

Microsoft is planning to "deliver or exceed" on its fiscal year 2022, with at least five new games from its studios.

In a statement to press, Microsoft described its intent to "meet or exceed" the number of games it launched in its FY2022, which included Age of Empires IV, Flight Simulator, Psychonauts 2, Halo Infinite, and Forza Horizon 5.


"Last fiscal we launched 5 new games across console, PC, and cloud. We are on track to meet or exceed that amount in the next fiscal."

I think they will deliver, we already know Starfield & Redfall are due next year, and Avowed is heavily rumoured for next year too.

Curious as to what the other two plus may be, but I am sure we will find out Sunday.

Plus I'm looking forward to Tokyo Ghost Wire finally coming to Xbox next year, as it looks pretty cool on ps5 imo.

This financial year ends in March 23. Don’t think Avowed will be out by then.

In my opinion Forza Motorsport will be one.

I suspect they’re including Starfield and Redfall which leaves 2 more games that could release within the next 8 months.

So weird when Flight Sim actally launched two years ago, and even with Age of Empires I don't think it has a date for its Xbox release.

Ok, so this is within their "first half of 2023" wiggle room for both Starfield and Redfall.

That's less than Nintendo this year, but I'll take it. Sounds pretty dang good, and a big improvement over this year.

If they can hit close to this, it's plenty for me as a multi-system owner. Having an Xbox exclusive every other month in addition to the rest of GP is pretty good.

Probably forza motorsport will get 2022 release date, rumoured gears remake might hit holidays this year as well. Next year we will probably get hellblade 2, red fall and starfield.

Yet another Forza game this year probably and maybe that rumoured Gears collection. I think they will make a big deal of DeathLoop and FF7 remake on game pass too.

To me that's not that amazing if that is all we get from now until June 2023
