Same here. Not sure what the issues some of the reviewers were having when they were filming having issues with Kinect understanding, it has been pretty much flawless for me and my fiancée. Only issues are when we try to tell it something that it does not understand, once I say it properly it is flawless. While watching TV, it has some issues recognizing certain channel names, outside of that, for Xbox Menu's etc, Kinect has been very good...and it is just going to get better as they update it.
It is painfully obvious from the launch streams that none of them bothered to learn how to use it. It's not entirely there fault though, they probably expected a 2013 experience using natural language instead of predefined commands ala a 2005 cell phone.
I don't mean this to bash the kinect voice recognition or anything -- It has been flawless for me too, it's just very limited compared to things like siri, google now, or even kinect 360
Um, is it just me or is the power brick making noise? Mine's louder than the console itself...
I can't hear mine (again, probably deaf) but it does have a fan inside
