also Netflix on PS3 was the gold standard for a long time.

X1 has occasionally given me HD but it's sporadic without rhyme or reason. I'll get HD for a few episodes at 8PM at night, then later at midnight it's all SD.

My netflix experience has been just as good as every other device I own. I feel lucky
Yeah the app is a lot better than the 360 one. Much more visible information and the quality of the video is so much better. On my 360 it was a chore to browse and the videos started out really low res for the first minute or two.

Gone back to my old Gamertag: wolfskin

So if you're new or just want someone to play with add me :D I have Dead Rising 3, Halo Spartan Assault, BF4 and Killer Instinct.

Also re-calibrated my kinect and now it hears my my voice every time, turning up the volume to max really does work!

About 15% I think.

It was a bit buggy for me though so I'd watch out.

I also get my multiplats on PS4 and Titanfall will be my excuse to use the X1 again. You should try Dead Rising though. It's ugly but fun. I can relate to that.
Not really a fan of zombie games, I'll probably end up getting RYSE or something

Have you got it set up so that Kinect can auto sign you in? If not go to settings and enable it. It'll sign you in when you switch the Xbox on and the welcome screen will appear.
I have it set up like that. maybe it doesnt happen because I'm the sole user..

At what point in the installation process does Forza become playable?

Somewhere areound 10-13%.

I'd weigh up the pros and cons.

Pros: You want to play DR3, which is a fantastic game, but isn't as challenging or as long as past entries and Ryse can be finished in a couple of sittings too. DR3 does offer some replayability in that you can unlock more in game content if you replay on nightmare as well as unlocking more blueprints, etc.

Cons: You'll have two consoles that don't have a great many games out for them yet. One will inevitably end up being somewhat neglected as you focus on the other...the X1 is still a little undercooked and has a lot of annoying quirks and missing features that need still need to be patched in, etc.

I'd go for it, but then I've always been a multi-console gamer, so perhaps I'm not the best person to ask.

Ryse multiplayer adds some replay to Ryse. It's pretty fun.

Are you sure you aren't missing it or something like that? I don't usually see it because my Xbox has got to the Dash before my TV has finished turning on, I will see it if the TV is already on though.

I think it is just netflix. I thought it was the xbox too but then I tried netflix on my bluray player and it sucked as well. I have 60mb connection too which was fine last night also.

I wish YouTube would add Y as spacebar in their app. Would save so much time searching for shit. I don't wanna pair my device either.

Dude seriously. Y used to be spacebar on 360 but after the last major update they changed it. What's so hard about programming Y to be spacebar?

Is there some easy way to disconnect the headset from the controller that I am missing? I have to press down on the front of it, usually jamming in the mute button while pulling it out while grasping the back to get it out.
That's what I do too, I like the headset itself, I just haven't found a good way to take it off...I don't think one exists unfortunately.

Re-posting to see if anyone knows what's up with this error message. Tried to do a little Google research, but couldn't find the best results.

Also, how do you even remove a payment option? I also looked up the how-to on this on Microsoft's site and they simply say to go to the Billing and Payment section on your system and simply follow the instructions from the "Edit" option. I don't see anywhere telling/showing me how to remove a credit card from a system from there, hah!

Okay, so I answered part of my question on my own, but I just thought of another one, lol!

When I first got my Xbox One I started a completely new profile and bought Crimson Dragon under one account. I wasn't happy with the name I chose so I created a new account and just re-downloaded the game onto my new profile and removed my old profile from my system. I'm assuming the games are tied to the system then because I didn't have to repurchase anything, right?

What if you have to get a new system one day? Would I have to recover the original account that Crimson Dragon had on it as well as my current/permanent one? Will there be anyway to transfer my license to my current account so it's under my current transaction history? Just curious how all of that will work down the road.

Microsoft please get the controller battery level patched in asap!! Damn thing died in the middle of a ranked match of Killer Instinct.

Yuterald, You could have just changed your GT via the menu and games are linked to both the machine and the console. You can play with your new account as the one licence from your old account is still on the console...

Was your Gamertag the name you didn't like? Because you can change that for free without deleting the account.

I don't know about getting a new system though.

Same here, this is the first time I didn't buy a console at launch just because Microsoft turned me off from them with all that other stuff, but I was always planning on getting one when Halo 5 came out. And right now those gift cards are really pushing me to take the plunge.

Id say go for it. I own both and really love both. Im thinking ps4 for multiplats and the xbone for exclusives and kinect games for my wife.

That's exactly how I'm thinking about this generation, minus the wife part I don't have one of those yet haha

Oh, It says my gamertag, I was wondering if there was a way to get it to display my real name like my PS4 does? It showed real names being displayed on the start up screen in the console trailers and commercials.

Is Peggle 2 good? I've never played Peggle before and to be honest the first time I heard about it was at E3 lol.

Ohhhhhh. I thought you meant that you didn't see the animation at all. Is your real name associated with your MS account?

Does anyone else experience really long install times? It took me over 2 hours to install Ryse from the disc. Disconnecting from the internet sped it up a bit, but it still took awhile.

Peggle 2 is pretty fuckin awesome and its not bad at all at $11/$12. You get 5 different peggle masters with different special abilities and some of the courses (tho some could be called puzzles) late in the game are incredibly tough. Its a game of skill that most play with luck. The worst aspects of the game are the weird music and art style and the technical issues that some are having with not being able to connect to multiplayer or getting kicked to the dashboard. I still enjoyed my time with it, perfect game to have a beer, pizza, fruit bowl, or vegetable tray with, and especially worth it if you never played the original.

I don't know about getting a new system though.

The GamerTag that I initially created when I first purchased Crimson Dragon was the one I didn't end up caring for so I made a new tag and just re-downloaded the game/started over on the new profile. Wouldn't I have had to pay that $10 GamerTag fee on the first account if I wanted to keep all of my transactions under one account then?

Ryse takes long for almost everyone for some reason. DR3 and Zoo Tycoon both took like ~10-15 for full install for me but Ryse took over an hour if I remember for full install. Servers are likely also getting hammered so that might also factor in.

Ugh the Headset is so nice and high quality, but god damn I feel like I'm going to break the damn thing when I try to take it off the controller. Being so nice and tight is great because it stops accidently disconnects, though. Can't complain much.

I found using the little clip that extends over the back makes it easier. Kind of push away from the controller from the top of the clip on the back. Maybe lift up a little on the clip.

Ok so I have been going back and forth on which console I wanted, considering free time and money I only plan on buying one.

This morning I got an email that the One is in stock at Amazon so I went ahead and took the plunge.

I plan on getting Fifa and then doing Gamefly for a while (they had a promo where I can get the two game plan for a month for $1) so I added Dead Rising 3.

The one question I have is where on the website can I add downloads to my queue and find game demos? It seems confusing compared to how it was with 360.

netflix on ps4 is in superhd, 1080p, just like ps3 was. When I try netflix on Xbox one, I'm amazed how bad quality is in comparison.

XB1 is also able to stream SuperHD but only for certain people it seems.

If you load up a video called:

Example Short 297.36 ( Not sure on the numbers. I can look it up if need be. )

It will display the bitrate of the video. 5800 is their "SuperHD" bitrate. Some people who have an XB1 have been able to hit that number. I can't. The highest I've gotten is like 3750 but it always bounces back out of that range.

My Smart TV is able to consistently reach and stay at 5800 and my ps3 in my bedroom is able to hit 3750 and stay there (My bedroom TV is only 720 so it can't get any higher).

I'm not sure why this is the case. My xbox is wired and my download speeds test at 60/10.

No, they've changed the system. There doesn't seem to be any fee now.

You cannot transfer your licenses from account A to account B, at least manually you can try contacting Xbox support about it and explain everything to them. But I doubt that they will transfer the license.
And if you ever get a second system you can only play Crimson Dragon on the system that is set as the Home system for the original account. Other accounts on other systems cannot play Crimson Dragon, the only way to play it on a non-home system is to log-in with the account that the license is tied to.

Really? I went to change my initial name/tag before I opted to make a new one and at some point they do ask you for those $10 to make the change. I think it appears at first that it's free to change, but if you actually follow the menus/options to the end you'll find yourself at the pay screen.
