Having used it now for 2 days, no. It takes some smarts to figure out all the stupid things Sony did with the UI, installations, downloads etc. One of the most unintuitive OSes I've used in awhile. But that's what firmware upgrades are for, I guess. Kinda jealous of all you guys getting an Xbox this week. That OS/UI is drool-worthy in comparison.

I really don't see what's so hard to understand with the PS4 UI, its very intuitive to me. The XB1 OS does look pretty ace though.

I really hope they are aware that there are those who watch hours and hours of TV everyday. Add that to all the hours of gaming that is going to be put into the system as well. I just hope they took that into consideration when they decided to take over our living rooms with the all in one plan of theirs.

Charter is probably not offered in the zip code that was entered. If I put in my zip code on a guide program I choose from the Cable/Satellite providers that are here locally.

Nope, I don't believe it can. Only videos at launch. However, I think this is one feature that would be nice to add.
I haven't heard if it could, but it wouldn't matter to me since I can just use my Roxio anyways for uncompressed screens.

I did nanowrimo two years ago and surpassed the word count. Nearly killed any drive I had to work for months after and I still haven't gone back to that story. I wish you luck. Glad I'm not attempting it this year again.
Hey anyone know what the process is for someone without a pre-order at gamestop? I want to get the X1 at midnight. I was thinking I'd go to my GS a few hours before it opened on Thurs morning. The problem is I have a job interview at 1:30 pm. Will I be able to purchase it and comeback for launch later without a pre-order?...
PS:I have a pre-order on Amazon but rather just get in person and not have to deal with amazon if they decided to give it to me days later...

First, call the Gamestop to see if they have any extra units for people without pre-orders. Not all of them will AFAIK. Depending on how many pre-orders that location has, they may hold all of their units until 48 hours post launch before opening them up to the non-pre-order folk.
TBH, I would check out something like Target, KMart, Walmart, Fred Meyer, etc... Don't know if any will have midnight launches, but it's worth a shot.

Yea I would do those type of stores but I don't drive. There are three gamestops with in walking distance from where i work/my cousin's house or a short bus ride to my house. So its those 3 stores or Amazon =) .
I'll def call monday or drop by cause I'm confused on the ticket system. I'm seeing that plenty of ppl went to gamestop morning of launch night, payed got a number and came back later without a pre-order but idk if that was just those particular stores or all gs do this.

I think the opposite tbh. My prediction is that out of all the launch games, Ryse will have the best story. There is depth to the gameplay, but we'll see.

I feel like buying ps4 and xbox one at launch is a somewhat risky gamble on my part. I got lucky with the ps4 so far since no issues occurred but the more you buy the more likely you are to be that unlucky 5% that get a dud. Here's to hoping I got a good streak going.

Just watch a stream of it on your XBone and push the QTE buttons when the player does.
If you get a bad system, it's not like you're screwed. You mail it in, wait, and get another one. /shrug Small risk, I say.
