Monopolize an industry early and quickly. How microsoft remains one of the Worlds most successful companies will always be confusing to me.
1) Windows is now a bag of shite
2) everyone I know who uses Teams absolutely hates it
3) they use endless numbers of contract workers, leading to a total lack of joined-up development in most of their products
4) they stuff Copilot into everything
5) They can't decide wtf their videogame business is and then make that explicitly clear to their customers.
And yet they make assloads of money. They're just a bit shit but their shareholders don't seem to give a fuck.
Must be nice to have so many government licences that you don't need to make any real effort.
There's no need to. Everyone knows this message was to early. Even Cog and Jez have said the same. Some games on the Xbox PC store aren't even updated to the latest version. You still can't play your whole library everywhere like they want. Xbox seems to just be running with this marketing and hoping to get it all working and ready at some point.I want DF to go test that ”This is an Xbox” strategy.
The problem is corporate, no company can move on from them. Think of every big company thousands of licenses. And teams is annoying but just good enough to not force companies to switch to zoom or something. How microsoft remains one of the Worlds most successful companies will always be confusing to me.

That’s what they’ve been doing with cloud streaming as well and they’re literally behind everyone. Stadia was better. Like, A LOT better. And it bombed. There's no need to. Whats going on is that they sold 400k units in November. Whereas in November 2017, 4 years into the gen, Xbox One had its best November ever selling well over a million units.
Turns out, telling people not to buy your console is retarded.
The person who bought half the US publishers and needed to now stop their recently acquired software companies bleeding money .So true. Who thought telling people to NOT buy your product was smart? LOL!
Greenberg's job is to market first-party games, not the platform.Greenberg remembering what his job is.

The one thing they've got down in terms of business licenses is Office365. Most need either Word or Excel. Sign up to their service and you get it all as well as OneDrive, SharePoint etc, all connected to Windows for convenience. For better or worse people will often go with it because it's there without having to ask for it.How microsoft remains one of the Worlds most successful companies will always be confusing to me.

Their entire cloud software suite, including onedrive & office is a broken barely usable clunky mess, missing core features. And is absolutely shamed by googles alternatives. Hats off to anyone who has managed to use their online cloud version of powerpoint without smashing their computer in frustration. How microsoft remains one of the Worlds most successful companies will always be confusing to me.

They really are. Love the Xbox. Weird that I love the least popular console every generation. The Xbox industry seems to be killing it.
And sometimes they get things right, like with Xbox 360 and Surface Laptop. But it almost seems like it's by mistake because they rarely know why.How microsoft remains one of the Worlds most successful companies will always be confusing to me.

And right before Christmas when people may actually want to buy it.Now they're out of stock of the X ineastern, central Europe. Now would seem the sensible time to push it.
People are less inclined when ps5’s are still $75 cheaperAnd right before Christmas when people may actually want to buy it.
