So glad I sold my XSX earlier this year.

I sold my launch XSX for $350 like a week before these deals starting dropping. I thought I was giving the buyer a nice deal at the time. Glad I sold it when I did.

But you are also paying for the limitations that comes with an locked ecosystem. That in itself is what makes these price comparisons between console and PC a bit bizarre. if this were a windows PC then it would be a valid comparison, but it ain't.

People always compare PC to consoles when it comes to performance or parrot "PC master race," but price comparisons are too far? The bottom line is that consoles are using PC parts, so it's not THAT much of a stretch to compare them. Not sure sure why you think price comparisons are so wrong.

Despite how people laud PC + 'Other Systems' as the superior combo, I think PC+Xbox is more useful to me for the GP Ultimate crossover usage, since I maxed my sub to 3yrs before the recent switch in conversion ratio. Series S|X is a nice, simple way to access GP for usage on the family bigscreen TV compared to having another PC hooked up. I'm letting my PS+ expire, too. I just don't use the PS5 enough with other options(PC, Deck, GP/Xbox). I'm really only hanging on to the PS5 at this point for FFXVI Rising Tide and Wolverine.

Yea this is what a buddy of mine is doing. I personally cant' stand PC gaming anymore and Xbox hasn't released a game I care about in a long time so I never bothered investing in doing the same as him. PS5 has everything I want and Xbox is just missing way to many niche titles that I enjoy. Genshin, Honkai, Trails series, Aterleir series, all the PS5 games which I enjoy almost all of them. I loved my 360 but I just haven't seen Xbox on that level in a long time.

Going to be honest as a PS5 owner im considering getting a XSX with this deal.
Gamepass has lots I want to try, no I don't own a PC and don't plan on it.
My only concern is not having enough time since my PS backlog is already big

I do, I physically own a Switch and purchase all my Switch games. But recently I've found it far superior to emulate them on my PC and stream them to my Deck via Sunshine/Moonlight.

Ditched consoles and went with a high end PC. Still looking forward to a ton of Xbox Game Studios games.
