Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition |OT| Shoot them with your guns (Again!)

Gentlemen, we can rebuild it. We have the capability to make the world's first enhanced store. Steam will be that store. Better than it was before.
As for costumes in Xenoblade Chronicles X, I hope there's a wide variety of them and of the more spicy variety that is

Xenoblade's physical release is always on high demand, they sell out pretty quickly.

And for those people who want to wait until Switch 2 comes out I would say at least buy the physical copy now then play it later when Switch 2 comes out.

:messenger_face_steam:

You made me FOMO this and bought it

I remember how much a pain it was to get Torna after the physical releases were done. I really Switch 2 helps raise up resolution and performances (HDR ?) with Switch 1 carts and they won't physical release again for Switch 2 version.

Honestly, re-releasing this game (and requiring previous buyers to re-buy the game to get the upgrades) 3-4 months from now would be a MASSIVE slap in the face. I'm always constantly surprised by the shenanigans this industry is able to get away with, but this would be a huge fail for Nintendo.

Both of my local Walmarts have a slot for it in their display cases. I guess I'll see how that pans out.
I suppose that I could check my local GameStop, but I suspect they only had preorder allotment.

Keeping this sealed until we get more info on how Switch 2 handles the games. These games raise up in value typically after the production runs are done.

Would be a slap on the face yea.

Ended up pre-ordering at my local Gamestop. That's how serious I was about this game as I never preorder from them unless it's a game I  Really want and I have no other choice.

Can you get those through a sidequest?
Yes. Outfits in this game are unlocked by either:
  • Buying them from the merchant terminal
  • Receiving them as quest rewards
  • Enemy drops (so far that's mostly just different armors I've seen, which can also be set in the cosmetic slots)
  • Investing in the various companies (again via the terminal) to unlock new stuff to buy from the merchant terminal
  • There may be other ways I haven't found yet(?)
Once you buy or find a piece of equipment, it's then permanently available for you to set in any character's cosmetic slot (ie you don't have to buy three bikinis for three party members, just one!)

Think you buy the bikini's and bunny suits with currency from multiplayer/BLADE missions in home base.
The bikinis / diving gear / swimwear are now available using regular currency! No multiplayer BS required.

I'd have done the same but I didn't know the game was coming out at this time, which is of course on me. I'll check GameStop tomorrow and hope for the best!

I wanna give this a try but I literally cant remember which part I played a few years back on my Switch. World wise they all look similar grand open nature. If I remember correctly, the plot was some moving ancient base/ship that the whole deal was about in the part I played. Anyone have any idea what im talking about lol?

I hope the side quest stories are slice of life stuff. I particularly love those types in JRPGs
Some of them are. Some of them are dark shit. This game is the most RPG an RPG could want to be.

I wonder who the other 2 new recruitable characters are. My bet is they are either Ganglion or from another Xeno game. I see little reason to hide them otherwise. It's going to be exciting I think.
